Bridger Campground Introduce
Are you searching for a serene and well-maintained campground near you in the Logan, Utah area? Bridger Campground, located at FR040, Logan, UT 84321, USA, offers a promising option for both RV and tent campers seeking a peaceful outdoor experience. Situated in a potentially scenic location near a river, Bridger Campground appears to provide a clean and varied camping environment. While specific details about all amenities and promotional offers are not available in the provided reviews, the existing feedback offers valuable insights into the campground's environment, services, and features.
The environment of Bridger Campground is described as having a mix of camping spaces to suit different preferences. Some sites are more open and located near the river, offering easy access to the water and potentially more sunlight. Other sites are described as "a bit more private" and are not directly adjacent to the river, suggesting a more secluded and possibly shaded experience. One reviewer specifically highlighted spot number 5 as the "best spot in the whole CG," praising its privacy and close proximity to the river, while also noting that road noise was not significant from this location. This suggests that the campground layout offers a range of experiences, from more communal riverside spots to more individual and tucked-away sites.
The overall cleanliness of Bridger Campground is explicitly mentioned as a positive attribute in one review, indicating that the management prioritizes maintaining a tidy and pleasant environment for campers. This is an important factor for many campers seeking a comfortable and hygienic outdoor experience. The presence of a river suggests potential for scenic views, the soothing sounds of flowing water, and opportunities for water-related activities, although the reviews only mention fishing.
Regarding services, the reviews provide limited information, but we can infer some likely offerings of Bridger Campground:
- Campsites: The campground offers a variety of sites, likely accommodating both tents and RVs. The presence of more open and more private options suggests different site sizes and configurations.
- River access: Proximity to a river is a significant feature, and access for fishing and potentially other water activities (depending on regulations and safety) is implied.
- Cleanliness: As mentioned, the campground is noted for being very clean, suggesting regular maintenance of the grounds and possibly facilities.
- Peaceful atmosphere: Both reviews highlight the peaceful nature of the campground, with one reviewer specifically mentioning a "very peaceful two nights." The lack of significant road noise at night also contributes to this tranquility.
It is important to note that the reviews do not mention specific amenities such as restrooms, showers, fire pits, picnic tables, or water and electrical hookups at the individual sites. Campers planning a stay at Bridger Campground should contact the management directly to inquire about the availability and nature of these essential services.
The features of Bridger Campground, based on the limited reviews, include its diverse campsite options (open vs. private, riverside vs. more secluded), its cleanliness, and its peaceful atmosphere. The proximity to the river is a major draw, offering opportunities for fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. The fact that at least some sites, like spot 5, offer a combination of privacy and river access makes this campground particularly appealing. The relative quietness from road noise in certain areas is another positive feature for those seeking a tranquil camping experience.
However, one significant drawback mentioned in one of the reviews is that "the road in is FULL of potholes." The reviewer describes this "paved" road as "pretty bad," which could be a concern for vehicles, especially those with trailers or lower clearance. Potential visitors should be aware of this road condition and factor it into their travel plans. It might be advisable to inquire with the campground management about the current state of the road and any potential improvements.

Bridger Campground Reviews
This CG has a mix of more open spaces near the river & a bit more private spaces (not near the river). It's very clean. We took spot 5 (best spot in the whole CG). It's private and very near the river. The road sounds are not near so loud. The only complaint is that the road in is FULL of potholes. For a "paved" road, it's pretty bad.
May 29, 2022 · Karen BergHad a very peaceful two nights here. Very close to the road, but no traffic at night. My site felt pleasantly tucked away and the layout was good for tent camping. Saw an older guy pull a couple fish from the river.
Oct 07, 2023 · JT GrayJust spent seven nights here with my girl. Absolutely beautiful and in every way. Right next to the Logan River, easy to get in and out of, unbelievably close to town, cleanest restrooms I have ever seen in a campground. And Campground Host John Jessop, who was always there with the answers to my silly questions and never stopped making sure that the place is beautifully cared for. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it an 11. Nah, make that a 12. Please keep up the great work and know that we will be back for at least a couple more weeks this year, and many, many more after that.
Aug 11, 2021 · Mark BlankenI have stayed in this camp ground for many years and have loved every minute of it. They finally got vaulted bathrooms this year. Our camp hosts have always gone the extra mile to make sure everything is in tip top shape. From the extra TP on holiday weekends, to making sure the grounds are kept neat and tidy. Even the fire pits have been raked around so no splinters in the feet!!! John Jessop has made this camp ground more inviting over the past 2 years then i have ever seen it. Will be back next year opening weekend as usual. Thanks for a great summer!!!
Sep 08, 2021 · amber larsenNot worth $20 a night. The sign at the gate is unclear. It says $20 and you can stay 7 days. Then after 2 days we were told it's $20 a night. It's close to the canyon road that stays busy all night and the traffic eccos of the canyon wall into the camp. There is a water source but no hookups.
