Preston Valley is approximately 8.5 miles up Logan Canyon. The highway can be a little annoying (noise). Definitely not a deal breaker. The beautiful Logan River is right there. Last fall I did see a large kitty track in the CG. I just would not let your dogs roam free. Great place to RV or car camp. - Bart
