The proximity to the river also suggests opportunities for scenic walks and enjoying the natural landscape, making it an attractive destination for those who appreciate the outdoors within the "camping near me" vicinity.
Indian Springs Family Resort offers a range of services designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of its guests. One reviewer specifically mentioned the availability of "restrooms that were clean along with sinks and a big mirror," highlighting the importance of hygiene and convenience. This suggests that the resort caters to guests who enjoy water activities and provides necessary facilities for freshening up afterwards. The welcoming and accommodating nature of the staff, as evidenced by their willingness to find a better campsite for a guest, contributes to a positive overall experience and can be considered a strong implicit promotion for the resort's hospitality.
While one reviewer mentioned some areas for improvement, specifically regarding dim lighting and insects in the bathrooms and the need for better shower heads, the overall sentiment remains positive, with the reviewer stating, "We LOVED our float trip." This suggests that the positive aspects of the resort, such as the family-friendly atmosphere, river activities, and affordable amenities, outweigh the noted drawbacks for many guests. The willingness of the staff to address concerns and the ongoing provision of popular services like the float trips and affordable meals indicate a commitment to providing a good experience for their visitors.
In conclusion, Indian Springs Family Resort offers a compelling option for local users searching for "camping near me" that combines a family-friendly environment with exciting river adventures. Indian Springs Family Resort Reviews
It was so nice here! Quite, family friendly. They had restrooms that were clean along with sinks and a big mirror. They had showers that were only a dollar which was so handy after playing in the river. There was a playground and a couple other kid playthings. A pool. They served a nice breakfast on Sunday morning for only $5!
Jun 08, 2024 · Emily BWe just returned home from spending two nights at Indian Springs. The campsite we originally reserved (#59) did not have enough flat space for two tents but they were very nice about letting us pick a more suitable area. We also got in on the Saturday Night Fish Fry ($7pp) and the Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast ($4pp). Both were very delicious! Another thing we really liked was the family atmosphere. There weren't any huge party groups that kept us up all night. My only complaint is about the bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms are so very dimly lit you can hardly see and most of them had huge spiders/webs. The showers were warm (if you paid $1 / 5mins) but again needed better light bulbs. It really wouldn't take much to keep up with the insects, put in brighter lights, and a decent shower head.We LOVED our float trip which took us about 4 hours with stopping about 4 different times.
Sep 03, 2019 · Trina LudwigShould have written this review long ago! We love this place, and have been there 3 times. We go the weekend AFTER Labor Day and Memorial Day. The river isn't crowded (everyone else went the holiday weekend before) and this campground isn't crowded either. The folks who run this are super friendly, kind, easy to deal with. The cabins are clean, newly remodeled bathrooms, and the place is quiet. So relaxing to cook on a grill, next to a campfire and relax with a cold beer after a nice day on the river. This last time (weekend after Labor day) we could only float rather than spend the night as they had staffing issues. We still had a good time. Try them out!
Sep 29, 2024 · Just MeGreat family campground. The Meramec Springs were beautiful. Well maintained, wonderful owners, and amazing prices at the gift shop/campground store! We will be back for sure.
May 03, 2021 · Randi SuzanneWe visited Indian Springs for an overnight camping trip. The grounds were well taken care of. There is some trash outside the camp entrance, though. The facilities were ordinary, not over or under my expectations for a camping grounds. There were a lot of bumps and swells, at our designated camp site, so wear appropriate footwear, and mainrain strong joints. The water and river were nice and the beach was very clean. We saw dogs on a leash and the owners (which I saw) were cleaning up after them. Each camping site has their own picnic table and fire ring. The campers before us left something on the table that drew flies and yellow-jackets.I did not see a playground, but I honestly was not looking for one.The reason I took one star away is because for 2 years in a row the Google Maps has taken me to CR 321, to an emergency exit that is neither maintained nor used, you must take the paved road there where the Landmark is.Could the owner of Indian Springs please contact Google Maps and have this changed??!Overall, it was a good experience, and reset my internal clock.Thanks.
