This practical advice can help fellow campers save money and convenience during their stay.
However, it's important to present a balanced perspective based on all available feedback. Another review offers a contrasting viewpoint regarding the owner. This review mentions a perceived lack of coolness and suggests a potentially insecure demeanor that might lead to a more authoritarian management style. The reviewer indicated that this impression was widely shared among others at the campground, with no one reportedly having positive things to say about the owner. This individual's experience led them to seek an alternative camping experience elsewhere, emphasizing the importance of a welcoming and positive social environment during their leisure time.
While this contrasting review raises a point of consideration, it's crucial to acknowledge that individual experiences and perceptions can vary. The overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the welcoming atmosphere created by the seasonal campers, the well-maintained facilities, and the engaging activities suggests that many visitors have a thoroughly enjoyable time at Joe's Hideaway LLC. Potential campers may want to weigh these different perspectives when making their decision.
In conclusion, Joe's Hideaway LLC offers a compelling option for those searching for "camping near me" in the Washington, NH area. Joe's Hideaway Llc Reviews
Spent the weekend here with my husband and best friend and we loved it. The seasonal campers were so welcoming and friendly. We felt right at home as soon as we pulled up. There is a clear display of respect for people and personal space. Yet at the same time you felt welcome to join others at their camp sites for a fun hang out. Which we did. The pool side social, tractor ride to the lake and potluck was an added bonus. The camp sites are beautiful and well maintained. We had potable water, electricity, fire pit and picnic table. The owners are around working, doing maintenance, prepping for festivities and making sure everyone is having fun and feeling respected. I look forward to going back. No need to debate whether you should check this place out. It's worth it! As far as wood goes. Get it there. Was the better deal we found.
Jul 10, 2017 · Kevin Damphouseit's a nice place and there's a great group of guys that stay there BUT the owner Joe is not a cool person. I think it's may be that he's really insecure so he'll try and run the place like a tyrant. I got the impression that no one really liked him. No one had anything nice to say about him. I was actually told not to make eye contact, lol. So I went to mountainside instead for my next weekend off and found it MUCH better. The owners are very cool and normal. I work too hard for my free time and can't afford to hang around unkind people;)Frank BerthiumeHappy Camper
Sep 12, 2024 · Frank BerthiumeExtremely clean and well run with a great group of guys! Our first trip was amazing and we can’t wait to come back. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming - just a great sense of community and vibe. Highly recommend!
Jul 08, 2024 · Derek MaroisWe just spent our first weekend their. Joe, Richard and the perms are very friendly. It's small compared to other campgrounds we go to in PA but it has all the amenities. We will definitely be going back!
Jul 02, 2024 · Steve DalyGreat place. Had a wonderful few days camping here July '23. It was a fairly quiet weekend when we were there but the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The place was well maintained and the campers were all really nice guys. Friskiness happens after dark in some areas but it was quiet all the same for those who need their beauty sleep.
