Kaner Flat Campground Reviews
We have stopped at this campground a few times, and it doesn't disappoint. There were plenty of open sites when we stopped, and looked around but I can see this place full of campers during any holiday. There is a hand water pump and I would advise filtering the water for drinking. If you do stay, please make sure your campfires are out. On our last visit, we came upon an empty campsite with a fire still smoldering.
Jun 21, 2024 · Aaron MaruskaThe roads between sites are paved, which is great for kids to ride bikes or scooters, etc. The river is also right across from the campgrounds, which is just beautiful. There's plenty of trees for shade, and the sites are decent in size with plenty of natural areas between the sites. The bathrooms have actual running water. The only thing they didn't have is power and water hookups for the trailer, but the trailer spots are also paved. All in all the site was beautiful, peaceful and our family had a great time.
Jul 24, 2024 · Carlene FunsethOne of our favorite campgrounds. I understand the appeal of dispersed camping, but too often you are roaming around trying to find a spot. Kaner is reservable and inexpensive (comparatively speaking). I like knowing I for sure have a place to camp. It has outhouses so you can save your black tank. Many of the sites are huge. We were able to get two trailers in one spot and just pay the extra vehicle fee. Beautiful forest and river. There is a store down the highway if you need to resupply. Drive up to Raven's Roost or up to Mount Rainier. We like to go to Boulder Cave. Plenty to do.
Jun 19, 2023 · R. UnSirClean campground. Pay for use. Reservable sites. Camp host. Vault bathrooms. Dumpster garbage facilities. Frost free water accesses. Paved road and trailer sites. At least 2 handicapped/paved camp area with tables and BBQ stand. Fire pit and table at each site. River nearby. Hike trails nearby. Some camp sites are far too close together for not being a group site, some are close to be used as a group site.
Jun 02, 2018 · JosephGreat campground, clean pit toilets. Short walk to the river for our pups to swim. Best of all clean air. Yakima was filled with forest fire 🔥 smoke. Camp host Dale was amazing.
