Nov 30, 2024 · Jose EnamoradoKate’s Fish Camp IS old Florida! Small fish camp with a big feel. The owners are easy to work with and very friendly. Pets allowed too!
Mar 20, 2025 · Susan GNeeded a place to camp for a couple of days while attending UF Honey Bee College. Conveniently located just outside of Gainesville and right on the Gainesville Bike Path. Nice shaded spots, old Florida style. Mike met us upon arrival and gave us a choice of spots. He is very friendly and accommodating. They make a natural soap there that is good for you! Ask him about it, he is a wealth of information about the area and soap making!!Bathroom is small, clean and ticked all the boxes. Shower is outdoors but was clean and spacious. They had some of their soap there to try.We are happy that we stumbled across this place and will bring our bikes next time.
Mar 27, 2025 · Richard GotwalsOwners were VERY friendly & helpful. Great walking trails. Feels isolated but is just off I75 S, just south of Macon, GA.
Jan 26, 2025 · Gary PotterThese people were so nice and had no issue with accommodating our late arrival and even allowed us to stay later than the 2pm check- out time. Very grateful. The camp site is on the smaller side, but so central Florida beautiful. Alligators can be seen at night in the water next to the camp. We will stay here again. (42ft RV)
