While specific details about the camping facilities are somewhat limited in the provided reviews, the enthusiastic feedback regarding the location and the services offered hints at a memorable local getaway.
Environment: Lakeside Beauty and Outdoor Activity Focus
The reviews highlight Lake Toho Fish Camp as a "lovely place" directly associated with Lake Toho. This suggests a picturesque environment with easy access to the lake, which is renowned for its fishing and natural beauty. One reviewer mentioned that their airboat tour started at this location, indicating that the camp serves as a gateway to exploring the lake's unique ecosystem. The possibility of renting a lot next year, as mentioned by the same reviewer, implies that the setting is appealing for a more extended stay, likely offering a blend of natural charm and a community feel for those who choose to become longer-term residents or seasonal visitors.
The second review focuses on a guided fishing tour on Lake Toho, suggesting that the environment is ideal for angling. The captain's knowledge of the lake, including water movement and weather patterns, points to a location deeply connected with the natural dynamics of Lake Toho. The mention of catching and releasing over two dozen Largemouth bass in a few hours underscores the lake's richness in fish and the potential for a rewarding fishing experience for those staying at the fish camp.
Services and Amenities: Airboat Tours and Guided Fishing
Based on the reviews, two prominent services offered at or associated with Lake Toho Fish Camp are airboat tours and guided fishing excursions. The fact that an airboat tour commenced at this location indicates that the camp likely facilitates or hosts such tours, providing an exciting way to experience the lake and its surrounding wetlands. These tours are a popular way to see the diverse wildlife and unique landscapes of the Florida Everglades-like environment found around Lake Toho.
The guided fishing service, exemplified by Captain Steve Niemoller, highlights another key offering. The recommendation of the captain indicates a level of expertise and service that guests can expect when engaging in fishing activities through the camp.
While the reviews don't explicitly detail typical campground amenities like hook-ups, restrooms, or recreational facilities, the name "Fish Camp" traditionally implies facilities catering to anglers and outdoor enthusiasts, which could include boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, and potentially camping or lodging options. The mention of renting a "lot" suggests the availability of spaces for RVs or perhaps even park models.

Lake Toho Fish Camp Reviews
What a lovely place. Our air boat tour started at this location, and we're thinking about actually renting a lot next year.
Apr 18, 2025 · Anthony TCaptain Steve Niemoller was our guide on Lake Toho. What started out as a slow day on the Lake without water moving. Became a constant catch and release of over 2 dozen Largemouth for about 2.5 hours. Captain. Is great with kids. He assisted my granddaughter catching her first 5 pounder as she is only eight years old. Captain Niemoller is highly recommended. Knows the Lake, how the water runs, gages the weather correctly and is patient. His fees are reasonable and he's even handed. Looking forward to our next visit.

Feb 22, 2024 · Star BritePics on the website are misleading, the pics are either not current or they are very favorably taken. There are some nice rigs, but most are park models or old. And the section near the laundry is falling apart. There is stuff strewn across some sites. The lake itself is beautiful and I'm sure the fishing is good. There is some airboat noise, but that is expected. We ended up parked next to someone who not only had things strewn across his spot, but had a noisy bird. The nearest restaurants and shopping are over 7 miles away. However, the clincher for us was that it took less than 24 hours for the ants to start infesting our rv. We packed up and left after that. Also, if you have small children or pets, both alligators and large snakes are in the area.
