Little Paint Campground Reviews
Best campground I’ve ever seen. It is so breathtakingly beautiful with a little stream running through it. Camp host went above and beyond for me and great deal on firewood. Will be back for a longer stay.
Sep 20, 2024 · Sarah MarieThis campground is laid out very nicely, and not packed together. There is never a camp site right behind you, and the campground is broken up into three sections. The pit toilets are clean and well-vented. There are great trails leading right from the campground, and easy access to Paint Creek in multiple spots. Nice fire pits with grilling racks, and well-groomed grounds.
Jul 15, 2019 · Nick ChillGreat campground. Huge sites. Awesome trails. Stocked trout stream. Very scenic. Not even 1/4 capacity on a Saturday night. Highly recommend!
Aug 03, 2021 · Scoota GangUnfortunately the sites were small and crowded together. I was expecting more space...The streams are very heavily fished. Troutfishing was average for the driftless. The deal breaker was that I couldn't get cell reception for a 25+ mile radius. I think Decorah is the closest Verizon coverage. So, I left before my final prepaid day of camping. The people were nice there though.
Jul 20, 2024 · Greg HansonNo cell service for US Cellular, but I like it that way. White church at the top of the hill has just enough to make calls and push messages thru. Lots of horses, so make sure dogs are on a leash. Trees are freaking beautiful this time of year!
