Loranger Pines RV Park Introduce
Looking for a highly recommended "camping near me" experience in Michigan? Consider Loranger Pines RV Park, situated at 1700 Crawford Ln, West Branch, MI 48661, USA. Based on enthusiastic reviews from fellow campers, Loranger Pines offers a unique blend of natural beauty, spacious accommodations, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for both seasonal and visiting RV enthusiasts. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of larger resorts, its core strengths lie in its well-maintained environment, clean facilities, and the exceptional hospitality of its owners and hosts.
The environment at Loranger Pines RV Park is a standout feature, consistently praised by visitors. One seasonal camper highlights that "the camp site backs up to tall and gorgeous red pines," creating a picturesque and serene setting. Imagine enjoying the shade and beauty of these majestic trees right from your campsite. The spaciousness of the sites is another significant advantage. Unlike some campgrounds where sites can feel cramped and close together, Loranger Pines boasts a setup where "no one is located across from you in any section of the campground." This thoughtful layout provides an added sense of privacy and allows campers to truly relax and enjoy their own space without feeling overlooked.
The management at Loranger Pines prioritizes a clean and uncluttered environment, which is a welcome change for those who have experienced less meticulous campgrounds. Their "simple rules" effectively prevent guests from excessively cluttering their sites, contributing to the overall neat and organized feel of the park. This allows campers to personalize their space with items like plants, tables, chairs, grills, sheds, and gazebos, but within reasonable limits that maintain the aesthetic appeal of the campground. This balance between personal expression and overall tidiness is clearly appreciated by the campers.
Cleanliness extends to the essential facilities, with the bathrooms receiving high marks from visitors. One reviewer mentioned that their visitors were "shocked at how clean the bathrooms are for a campground," underscoring the commitment of the owners and hosts to maintaining a high standard of hygiene. Clean and well-maintained restrooms are crucial for a comfortable camping experience, and Loranger Pines evidently excels in this area.
While Loranger Pines RV Park focuses on providing a quality camping experience rooted in nature and spaciousness, it's important to note that it does not offer amenities such as a campground store or a playground on-site. However, this is offset by its convenient location, just a short 10-minute drive from the shops, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, walking paths, and the "cute downtown" area of West Branch. This proximity allows campers to easily access essential supplies and enjoy local attractions without being directly in the hustle and bustle of a commercial zone.
The heart of Loranger Pines RV Park lies in the exceptional hospitality of its owners and hosts. Lori, one of the owners, along with camp hosts Jeff and Phyllis, are repeatedly described as "welcoming, kind, and helpful." Their genuine care for the campers is evident in their actions, such as staying up late to guide a late-arriving guest to their site. They also actively foster a sense of community among the campers by hosting events like "coffee and donuts for campers to meet" and a recent "cook out under their beautiful pavilion for customer appreciation," where both seasonal and visiting customers were invited. These initiatives create opportunities for social interaction and contribute to the friendly atmosphere of the campground.
Looking towards the future, the owners are planning "more activities...for kids," which is exciting news for families considering Loranger Pines for their "camping near me" destination. This indicates a commitment to continually enhancing the guest experience and catering to a wider range of campers.
For added convenience, Loranger Pines offers practical services such as "fire wood delivered" and "propane tanks filled" at a reasonable price. These on-demand services eliminate the need for campers to leave the park for these essentials, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of their stay.
The positive experiences shared by campers speak volumes about the quality of Loranger Pines RV Park. One seasonal camper explicitly stated, "I looked at 3 other campgrounds before choosing Loranger. Excited this is where we chose. Already many great memories made and looking forward to making more :)." Another visitor who came for work affirmed, "I'll Definitely be coming back here!" These testimonials highlight the park's ability to create a positive and memorable camping experience for a variety of guests.

Loranger Pines RV Park Reviews
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! This is our first year as Seasonal Campers at Loranger. My daughter and I love it! The camp site backs up to tall and gorgeous red pines. The set up is what I enjoy most. The sites are spacious. No one is located across from you in any section of the campground. They have simple rules that most camp grounds have. They don't allow guests to clutter their sites, which is nice change from some parks I've been to. You can have plants, tables, chairs, a grill, shed, gazebo, etc... However they keep all of it at a minimum. The owners and hosts also keep their areas (storage, office, carts) clean and no clutter. They keep the bathrooms very clean. I've had visitors comment that they are shocked at how clean the bathrooms are for a campground. They do not have amenities such as a campground store or playground. However shops, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, walking paths and cute down town are only 10 minutes away. Lori who is one of the owners and Jeff and Phyllis who are the camp hosts are so welcoming, kind and helpful!! They have hosted coffee and donuts for campers to meet. Recently they had a cook out under their beautiful pavilion for customer appreciation. Both seasonal and visiting customers were welcome. Great time and nice to meet more people. They are planning more activities in the future for kids, which we are excited about. At a reasonable price you can get fire wood delivered and propane tanks filled. I looked at 3 other campgrounds before choosing Loranger. Excited this is where we chose. Already many great memories made and looking forward to making more :)
