Bachelor Runn Campground LLC Reviews
This place is really good, and I fully expect it to be great in a couple of years. There is definitely growing pains, but overall I can't reasonably complain about anything. My visit was July of 2024.We had a primitive site, and honestly they were spacious. This is my fifth time camping with my family and the largest lot we've had. We did find ticks but that is just part of camping. With 4 adults, 4 kids, and two dogs we found less than 5.We are not disc golfers but we did walk around and see everything, and the disc golf seems very well equipped. The bridge to the creek seems like it was recently repaired, but it could probably be used to be replaced. The ground sinks a lot around the area so it could very well be something that needs a high cost version to not require a ton of of maintenance. There were multiple cabins (I would compare the exterior to a very fancy she-shed) and we met a gentleman who's been here a while and he loves it. Said he had ac and a mini fridge and he was happy as a clam too. More of these were going to be going up at the time of our visit. The RV sites were a bit close together, but no more than the majority of sites I've been to and visited, and they were much longer which I think is super accommodating. The back yard bowling was a cool idea, could use some prettying up since my kiddos weren't sold on its appeal. The putt-putt (mini-golf) were really cool and well situated.I left reviews on the picnic area, dog friendliness and restrooms for more information.I'm hoping to come back next year and see how much it's changed. This is a massive undertaking and it's being done quite well.
Jul 06, 2024 · Autty BozzaGreat spot for camping. They have little cabins for rent, and electric hook up for campers/RVs. There’s lots of trails for walking and many acres to explore. There is a creek that runs through the property. There’s a few small playground swing sets throughout the property. And a nice little pavilion near the Camper set up area. There is 24hr bathrooms with individual showers for women and men.
Aug 01, 2024 · Jaida AndersonElectric sites are too close to each other. Although they are long sites, they are skinny sites. It was hard to determine who's site had a fire pit & who didn't, but it looked like one pit for every two sites. They do have activities like Putt-Putt, Lawn Bowling, arcades, & a driving range, but those all cost extra. There is a camp-store & ice cream stand as well. The campground did lose power twice & they managed to repair it fairly quickly. Only have small single pit toilets throughout the grounds. But there is a shower room at the office. You can fill your water tank while you're checking in.
Jun 23, 2024 · Annette JarvisNot a bad place if you're staying for a night or two anything longer just don't the grounds aren't horrible but aren't great you're to close to other people the bath house is disgusting they rarely clean then the dump station doesn't have a rinse off and the owner just tries to screw people in Indiana if you stay for a month they can't charge tax so he charges you 28 days so you still have to pay tax it's way over priced especially because all you get is electric no water or sewer hookup. If you're passing through it'll do you fine if you're staying longer find another campground
Dec 27, 2024 · Timmy RatajDo not go here for any haunted attraction, the WORST! Tractor broke down, no refunds, a total waste of $$. Joy, said we could go back to get a hayride but when we went she acted like we didn't know what we were talking about and went up on their price! Nope never again. Go somewhere better for these kinds of attractions!
