This is one of our favorite stops on our travels north to south. We usually only overnight but decided to stay awhile and enjoy the campground. Campground offers electric and full hookups, sites are all spacious and well kept. Bath house/restrooms are clean and the water is hot. Bicycle trails are paved and hiking paths mowed. Aqua center looks cool (not open yet) and enjoyed the farm.
Apr 22, 2025 · Cindy K.We chose Prophetstown State Park Campground as a quick stop along our route. Reservations to tent or to RV are easily made on the Indiana DNR website. Choose from 30/50 amp electric/water back-in gravel sites in the Savannah Loop or from full hookup 30/50 amp gravel sites in the Spruce Loop, which are back-in except for a dozen pull thru full hookup sites. Sites are very spacious and have picnic tables, firepit/grill combos, and side patios. Within the campground, bike over five miles on the paved bike trail, hike on one of five hiking trails, chose from two picnic areas, or make reservations for one of four shelters or the recreation building. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, visit the Aquatic Center to tube, float on the lazy river, go down the tube slide and much more. Visit the Farm at Prophetstown to learn about this 1920s farmstead, purchase fresh foods, and have a meal. The park also has seasonal events. It is a beautiful, well-maintained State Park and should be on your list of places to visit and or camp.
Apr 30, 2025 · Theresa EBest state park I've been to and I've been to a lot. The sites are perfect and level. There is so much for the kids to do. The play grounds are in great shape and awesome. The water park was amazing. The only thing I would change is the park said it was full and I would say it was 25% occupied. People don't cancel and that is what ruins it for others.
Jul 18, 2023 · Jason GasawayWe love camping at Prophetstown because it’s well taken care of and has many things to do here. There’s a working farm with lots of animals, hiking/biking trails, playgrounds, and an aquatic center open in the summer.
May 07, 2024 · Teresa D.Great place to stay with large sites and plenty of trees for shade. Has water park and lots of bike paths.
