This amazing turn of the century farmhouse has been turned into a wimsical melting of old world decor and a magical day dream. Located in the quiet farmlands of Delphi ,Indiana. Nestled in a beautiful patch of peaceful woodlands, you won't find a more beautiful island if serenity and relaxation.Every room of this wonderful get a way has at least a small bookshelf loaded with books on any subject and every genre. With a plethora of windows in every room to let in the fresh air breezes and bountiful sunlight in. Curling up with one of these amazing books on one of the many sitting areas and a comfy blanket will free the soul. But make sure to look up every once in a while to take in the amazing natural views that these portals allow. The gleefully artistic decorations will help transport you to a new world! Everything from flying books to levitating lit vines. Even a cupboard under the stairs. The mad hatter approach to the furniture decorating is fun and let's everyone pic something that fits their personality! The main "library" room contains a beautifully rustic large table for gaming that can easily fit a large 10 person or more campaign group and several games are provided. But bringing your favorite tabletop game and your most trusted D20 will fit right in. I could easily see a group of like minded friends dressing the part for an more emersive gaming experience. From the most daring adventurer, to the greatest mage, and yes even a bard or two would fit right in in here.Wanting a magical place for a honeymoon or a get away with a bridal party. This place would be great for that serene break from the insanity right before or after your wedding. Now on to the real world of the farm to folklore. It has four bedrooms and one and a half baths. Two of the three bedrooms upstairs have queen beds and can comfortably sleep two persons each. The third has a small single person bed like most of us had when we were younger.(Twin size I think) This room also has the half bath as an on suet.the main floor has another bedroom that contains another queen bed. For a total of 7 people comfortably. But there is also a day bed in the main living room and a large L shaped couch in the library that can probably sleep an additional 3 smaller folks a little less comfortably. The full bathroom and kitchen are also found on this main level. The kitchen has two modern fridges and a modern stove. They also have most every small appliance that you might need in the cabinets. But the rest of the kitchen look like it's straight out of little house on the prairie. There is not any central heat or air conditioning to the house. But in winter they have space heaters in almost every room and a working wood stove in the main living room that should be able to heat it adiquitly. During warmer months the many many window will allow for lots of breezes to flow throughout the house, as well as fans are found in most rooms to help out on those slow wind days. There is also a more primitive camping site on the grounds. I believe it sleeps two persons and looks like a gypsy caravan. We did not use this camping area so I can't speak much about it. So check the website and other comments for a good idea as to this experience.I'm sure by my review you know that I highly recommend this experience to any one and everyone that will listen. So check it out!To the host. All of your design elements and arrangements were amazing! You really have a great eye for creating magical and whimsical displays and rooms. You really aught to create more! My wife is a huge harry potter fan and adored the cupboard and the bedroom. Especially the letters. My most loved the flying books in the stairwell. Bravo! What an amazing experience. We are looking forward to booking a longer stay in the future so we can really take it in all the way. Thank you for a magical weekend!
