MacBeth's Cabins and Country Store Reviews
Awesome place! Most cabins have great view of the river. General store is super handy. Really beautiful cabins! Beds surprisingly more comfortable than I had anticipated!
May 02, 2025 · Nick SukosdI've been traveling to the cook forest area for the last 25 year's and Macbeth's is always the go to place to fulfill your every need from food to fishing license, to clothing, essentials and much much more!. I highly recommend!..
Sep 26, 2024 · John HilsonMan, a lot has changed with this place. Been coming here my whole life. Can not fathom even a little why they decided to partner with Devils BBQ from Brooksville. How money hungry do you have to be to partner with a business of that kind of international scorn? I could never in good faith spend my money with someone who thinks this is ok?I saw the logo which was kind of generic so it didn’t ring any s at first but when I put it together and tried to ask the clerk if it was THAT bbq place they tried to doge my questions. They want the traffic a food service would bring but apparently don’t care how they get it.Transparency is important to me and I won’t spend my money here. Deeply deeply saddened the MacBeth family made this decision.
Jul 30, 2024 · E. A.I love Macbeth’s! Looking forward to my family’s next visit
Dec 31, 2024 · Amanda SivekI’ve been going here for 23 years. The price keeps going up but I rarely see any improvements to my stay.I understand the difficulty of trying to maintain the cabin “vibe” while keeping things up to date, but here are my recommendations:Consider renovating the bathrooms and kitchens of cabins. Most of the bathrooms have poor lighting, and moldy shower curtains/showers.Kitchens could use updated appliances. Some kitchens do not provide microwaves/toasters. Even though I would rarely use those, it would be nice to have when I do.Kitchens should also provide basic cooking utensils. Every year, I have to half of my kitchen because these are not provided.Cabins should have more places to hang clothes/towels/swimwear rather than just nails in the doors/walls.The window curtains should cover the entire window, most leave at least an inch uncovered.Other than that, it’s a nice place to stay. There’s almost always something going on when you walk down to the gas station now, which is something I really enjoyed over the past few years.
