Kensington Introduce
If you're looking for "RV parks near me" in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, Kensington, located at 3825 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. While traditionally a mobile home park, some individuals seeking long-term RV stays might consider such communities. It is crucial to gather a comprehensive understanding of the environment and facilities before making a decision.
Kensington can be contacted at (702) 643-8153 or +1 702-643-8153. Reaching out to the management directly is the best way to inquire about the park's policies regarding RVs, availability of spaces that can accommodate recreational vehicles, the types of hookups offered (if any), lease terms, and any specific rules or regulations for RV residents. This direct communication will provide the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Publicly available online reviews for Kensington present a somewhat contrasting picture of the community. One reviewer expressed a highly negative opinion, describing the park as "straight-up ghetto." This individual reported unpleasant conditions such as a persistent smell of "piss and trash," and alarmingly, claimed to have found a needle by the pool. They also alleged issues with neighbors stealing groceries and expressed concerns about the behavior of children in the community, attributing it to the overall environment. This review paints a picture of a community facing significant challenges related to cleanliness, safety, and social behavior.
In stark contrast, another reviewer offered a highly positive perspective, describing Kensington as "one of a kind." This reviewer was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the park, stating that it is "always clean" and "pristine," even with the presence of many children. They found the park to look "brand new" and commended the efforts of those maintaining it. This positive review suggests that there are aspects of Kensington that are well-kept and appreciated by at least some residents, highlighting a potential discrepancy in the overall living experience within the park.
When considering Kensington as a potential "RV park near me," it is essential to weigh these contrasting opinions. The significant negative feedback regarding cleanliness, safety concerns (such as finding a needle), and alleged social issues should be taken very seriously. Conversely, the positive feedback emphasizing the park's cleanliness and pristine condition suggests that there may be well-maintained areas or that experiences can vary greatly among residents.
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, key considerations typically include the availability and type of utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity), the condition of the park's infrastructure (roads, common areas), the presence and quality of amenities (laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, recreational areas), the safety and security of the community, and the overall living environment. The conflicting reviews for Kensington make it difficult to definitively assess these aspects based solely on the provided information.
Given the serious nature of the negative allegations in one of the reviews, prospective RV residents should exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence if considering Kensington. This should include a direct and detailed inquiry with the management regarding the park's policies on RVs, the specific amenities available to RV residents, the security measures in place, and the management's response to the kinds of issues raised in the negative review. It would also be highly advisable to visit the property in person to assess its current condition and, if possible, speak with current residents to gain a broader range of perspectives on the living environment.
The mention of a pool in the negative review suggests that there is at least one recreational amenity within the park. However, the alleged condition surrounding the pool raises concerns about its maintenance and safety. The positive review's emphasis on overall cleanliness implies that efforts are being made to maintain the park, but the discrepancy between the two accounts highlights the need for firsthand observation.
For those searching for "RV parks near me" that offer a more consistently positive and safe environment, it may be prudent to explore other options in the Las Vegas area that have more uniformly favorable reviews regarding cleanliness, safety, and community management. Comparing multiple parks based on resident feedback and conducting personal visits can help ensure a more suitable choice for long-term RV living.
In conclusion, while Kensington is located in Las Vegas and may appear as a potential option for those searching for "RV parks near me," the publicly available reviews present a stark contrast in opinions. The serious allegations of uncleanliness, safety concerns, and social issues in one review warrant significant caution. The positive feedback regarding the park's pristine condition in another review suggests that there may be well-maintained aspects. Prospective RV residents should conduct thorough personal research, including direct communication with management and a site visit, to reconcile these conflicting accounts and determine if Kensington meets their standards for a safe and comfortable long-term RV living experience.
It is strongly recommended that anyone considering Kensington contact the management directly with specific questions about RV accommodations, amenities, security, and the issues raised in the negative reviews. A personal visit to the property is essential to form your own assessment of the community's environment and whether it aligns with your expectations for an "RV park near me."

Kensington Reviews
Man, this place is straight-up ghetto. It’s always smelling like piss and trash, and I’m not even exaggerating. Found a needle by the pool one day—like, what?! The neighbors are so broke they’re out here stealing groceries, and the kids? Don’t even get me started. You see how they act and start side-eyeing the parents, but then you look around and it all makes sense. This place is a mess, fr.
Feb 19, 2025 · Pimp NThis park is one of a kind. I must say that because it is one part that I know that is always clean and I don't understand it because there's kids everywhere. But this place is so pristine. It looks brand new. I don't know who's keeping it up like that but I hope they keep doing a good job like that because there's a lot to be said about that.
Nov 26, 2024 · Mel SerranoLovely mobile home park where all homes are extremely well kept. Landscaping is green, the pool is crystal blue and streets look recently paved. Quiet community where the people are friendly and you know your neighbors. No eye sores here! Dennis is doing an excellent job with maintenance. Great clubhouse, enjoy!
Jul 30, 2024 · Worldly JusticeThis place was horrible to me. Landlord was not helpful! Got mad at my kids for writing something “bad” and it wasn’t even my kids that did it and she has cameras and still blamed my kids. That’s just one of the many reasons why you shouldn’t apply here. I’m glad I don’t live here anymore! Also when I was gonna move out she called the place I was applying for and said “I didn’t pay rent” I was behind rent one time. So please don’t apply here!
Sep 12, 2024 · Monkey YamaStayed with a family member there for about a month and it was surprisingly quiet. Also, the neighbors are very friendly. Only drawback is the jets from the Air force base fly over a lot.
