Desert Winds Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for a mobile home park in the North East area of Las Vegas? Desert Winds Mobile Home Park, located at 3815 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115, offers a unique living environment with a strong sense of community and a focus on safety. While you might be searching under the category of "RV parks near me," it's important to understand that Desert Winds is a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents seeking a stable and secure living situation.
One of the standout features of Desert Winds Mobile Home Park, according to resident feedback, is its generally quiet atmosphere. Its location is somewhat isolated from other communities and markets due to its proximity to the Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), resulting in an open environment with fewer immediate commercial or residential neighbors. This can be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful living space away from the hustle and bustle of more central Las Vegas areas. However, residents should be aware that occasional noise from military jet operations and training at the nearby AFB can occur.
Safety appears to be a high priority at Desert Winds Mobile Home Park. One reviewer explicitly described it as a "safe community" situated at the northeast corner of Las Vegas Boulevard. This feeling of security is further reinforced by the park's policy of requiring background checks for all residents, contributing to a more secure and trustworthy living environment for everyone within the community.
The location of Desert Winds also offers convenient access to certain local attractions and amenities. For those interested in motorsports, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is located less than five miles to the northeast. Additionally, the park provides easy access for attendees of the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) dance music festival, suggesting a potential influx of visitors to the area during such events, though the park itself remains a residential community.
Despite its somewhat secluded location, Desert Winds benefits from the ease of access to various local food options and the convenience of delivery services. Residents can enjoy a range of cuisines and have everyday necessities brought directly to their doorstep, combining the tranquility of its setting with the accessibility of urban conveniences.
The desert environment surrounding the park does present some maintenance considerations. Residents should anticipate the need for regular landscaping due to the windy and dusty conditions, which can lead to rapid weed growth. Frequent removal of weeds is necessary to maintain the appearance and tidiness of individual lots and the overall community.
A particularly insightful review comes from an individual who has grown up in Desert Winds Mobile Home Park since childhood. This long-term resident offers a unique perspective, praising the management, specifically mentioning Duke and Judy, for their consistent dedication to maintaining the park and caring for its residents over three decades. This reviewer directly addresses potential negative feedback by emphasizing that adhering to the park's "reasonable rules and regulations" typically results in a problem-free living experience. The fact that many families have chosen to reside in the park long-term is presented as a testament to the quality of the management and the overall community environment. This perspective strongly suggests a well-managed park with a history of fostering a positive living experience for those who respect community guidelines.
Considering the information available, Desert Winds Mobile Home Park offers a safe and generally quiet residential environment in the northeast part of Las Vegas. Its proximity to Nellis AFB contributes to its open surroundings and occasional aircraft noise. The park prioritizes safety through background checks for all residents and has a long-standing management team that has garnered praise from long-term residents. While the desert climate necessitates regular landscaping, residents benefit from easy access to local food options and delivery services. The park's location also provides convenient access to attractions like the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the EDC festival.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be considering a more permanent living situation in a mobile home community, Desert Winds Mobile Home Park presents a compelling option, particularly for those prioritizing safety and a quieter environment. Jun 27, 2024 · Shinnoah VegasI’ve grown up in this mobile home park since I was five. I read the previous reviews and I would say it’s a bit unfair to say. I’ve watched duke and Judy my entire childhood and early adulthood life maintain this mobile home park from cleaning up other peoples spaces to caring for the folks that physically are disabled. If you abide by the reasonable rules and regulations of the park there is never any problems. They’ve been running this park for 30 years and have families whom have chosen to stay long term. If that doesn’t say something about management then i don’t know what does. I think it amusing the two below reviews create one at the same time.
Aug 31, 2023 · Kourtney LongIf I could give them cero starts I would, if you want to live in peace don’t come to this place the manager Judy would harass you and tell horrible things about you to others residents and on top of everything she would send her whole family to your house to harass you, this lady has no education and she’s not professional at all, I have an ESA dog and she has been harassing me for that reason since I moved here. The rent cost for space is cheap but you will pay the rest with your peace and mental health because this lady would do anything to upset you.
Apr 26, 2023 · emily umanzorI have lived here for close to 20 years and the managers became my dearest friends as they are great hearted proffesionals. The people in here takes cares of their lives and places very well resulting on a dignified place to live alone or with a family.People keep to themselves, the noise is down to the minimum, you will feel at peace and safe, the lot rent is one of the lowest in Las Vegas with water and garbage included, and you have the bus stop right in front at Nellis Blvd.
