Huntington RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the vicinity of Huntington, Texas, Huntington RV Park, located at 410 Avenue F, presents itself as an option to consider. This park primarily caters to long-term residents and offers basic amenities for RV stays. Based on recent customer feedback available online, it's important for prospective visitors to be aware of certain aspects of the park and its facilities.
The environment at Huntington RV Park is described by one reviewer as a "quiet spot to stay," suggesting a potentially peaceful setting. The grounds feature grass sites, which, according to a review, can become muddy following rain. While the park offers "good shade for most spots," this may be a significant advantage for those seeking respite from the Texas sun, particularly during the warmer months. It's worth noting that the sites are all back-in, and while some are reportedly easy to maneuver into, others may present challenges for larger RVs. Therefore, if you operate a big rig, it may be prudent to inquire about site accessibility before booking.
In terms of services and features, current online reviews indicate some limitations. One reviewer explicitly states that "there are no restrooms," which is a crucial consideration for travelers who rely on communal facilities. Additionally, the laundry room was reported as "locked" by the same reviewer, suggesting that this amenity may not be consistently available or accessible to all guests. These are important factors to weigh, especially for those planning longer stays or those who prefer the convenience of on-site facilities.
One of the recurring themes in the available feedback is the prevalence of long-term residents at Huntington RV Park. A reviewer noted that "most of the units here are long-term residents." This can contribute to a sense of community for those staying for extended periods. However, it might also influence the overall atmosphere and the availability of short-term sites. If you are looking for a short overnight stop or a brief getaway, it would be advisable to confirm the availability of suitable sites with the park management.
Accessibility to Huntington RV Park is another point highlighted in the reviews. One customer mentioned that the "city street leading to the park is narrow and potholed with deep ditches." This could potentially pose a challenge for some RVs, particularly larger ones, when entering and exiting the park. It would be wise to exercise caution when navigating the approach to the property.
It is essential to address some serious allegations raised in one of the online reviews. This particular review includes claims of unauthorized background checks and concerns regarding the alleged criminal history of other residents. These are significant accusations that prospective visitors should be aware of. The review also suggests a potentially unsafe environment. It is important to note that these are individual claims made in an online review and may not represent the overall reality of the park. However, it is prudent for anyone considering a stay at Huntington RV Park to take these comments into account and potentially seek further clarification or information if they have concerns about safety and management practices.
Given the information available in the online reviews, Huntington RV Park appears to be a no-frills option primarily catering to long-term stays. The environment is described as quiet with good shade, but potential drawbacks include muddy sites after rain, challenging water hookups, the reported lack of restrooms, a potentially inaccessible laundry room, and difficult road conditions leading to the park. Furthermore, the serious allegations raised in one review regarding background checks and the safety of the environment should be carefully considered.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Huntington, TX, Huntington RV Park is an option to be aware of. However, based on the available feedback, it is crucial to contact the park directly at (903) 952-2105 or +1 903-952-2105 to inquire about current conditions, availability for your specific needs (short-term or long-term), and to address any concerns you may have regarding the amenities, accessibility, and the issues raised in the online reviews. It is always recommended to gather the most up-to-date information before making a decision about where to stay.
Prospective guests should weigh the potential benefits, such as the quiet environment and shade, against the reported limitations and concerns before choosing Huntington RV Park for their RV stay in the Huntington, Texas area.

Huntington RV Park Reviews
Quiet spot to stay. Sites are grass and can be a bit muddy if it has rained. Good shade for most spots. Water hookups are almost impossible to attach to. Most of the units here are long-term residents. There are no restrooms and the laundry room was locked. All sites are back in with some being easy to get into and others difficult for big rigs. City street leading to the park is narrow and potholed with deep ditches.
Mar 26, 2018 · HowardThey looked up my background without my permission, and then asked if I would consent to a background check lol. I guess they seen my felony from 16 years ago. Meanwhile they rent to a guy that has a manufacturing Meth charge, aggravated assault, forgery of a financial instrument ect. So don't stay here unless you want to live next to a meth lab and have your civil rights infringed upon by means of discrimination. It's rumored you can find every drug there. You're welcome.
Aug 16, 2018 · kotton mouthNot too impressed..They allowed the circus to come stay here and they completely torn the area up. All the owner could say was "call me if there is a real problem". Just ready to leave this place.
