The Farm RV Park Introduce
Welcome to The Farm RV Park, located at 302 Kenneth Carrell Rd in Lufkin, Texas. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" that provide a blend of peaceful countryside charm and convenient amenities, The Farm RV Park stands out as a highly recommended destination. Based on glowing reviews from recent visitors, this RV park offers a delightful experience characterized by well-maintained grounds, spacious sites, unique features like fishing tanks, and accommodating owners.
One of the most prominent highlights mentioned by guests is the overall positive experience of staying at The Farm RV Park. One reviewer stated, "We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Farm!" This enthusiastic endorsement speaks volumes about the quality and atmosphere of the park. The reviewer specifically praised their spot as being "well kept & spacious," which is a significant factor for RV travelers seeking comfort and roominess. Ample space allows for easier maneuvering, setup, and enjoyment of the outdoor living area around the RV.
A unique and highly appreciated feature of The Farm RV Park is the presence of "two tanks on the property" that are available for fishing. This "added perk" significantly enhanced the stay for one family, providing a relaxing and enjoyable activity right within the park grounds. Whether you are an avid angler or simply enjoy casting a line in a peaceful setting, having on-site fishing opportunities is a notable amenity that sets The Farm RV Park apart from many others.

The owners/hosts are described as "accommodating and happy to help make sure everything was set how you needed it." This reinforces the impression of attentive and helpful management dedicated to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Interestingly, this reviewer noted that "There seemed to be a lot of long term campers, but it was nice and quiet!" This is a significant observation, as a mix of short-term and long-term residents can sometimes lead to a less transient and more stable community feel within an RV park. The fact that it remained "nice and quiet" despite the presence of long-term residents suggests a well-managed park where a peaceful atmosphere is maintained.
Adding to the charm of The Farm RV Park is the scenic environment. From one particular spot (site 36), guests enjoyed "a fun view of some farm animals just across the road." This connection to a farm setting provides a unique and appealing backdrop for your RV stay, offering a touch of rural tranquility and the opportunity to observe animals, which can be particularly enjoyable for families and those seeking a break from urban environments.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Farm! Our spot was well kept & spacious. We enjoyed mornings and afternoons fishing at the two tanks on the property. This added perk made our stay even better! We will miss this RV park & can’t wait to be back! Would 100% recommend to everyone! Jimmy & Terry were also a joy to work with!
Mar 06, 2025 · Larisa WaddleWe stayed a few nights in September of 2024. The park was clean and well maintained. The owners/hosts were accommodating and happy to help make sure everything was set how you needed it. There seemed to be a lot of long term campers, but it was nice and quiet! From our spot (36) we had a fun view of some farm animals just across the road.
Sep 20, 2024 · Kaila FGreat Rv Park,We arrived at the park in med October of 2023. We stayed until June 3rd of 2024. If you are in the area this is the park you need to be in. Nice level gravel spaces, pedestals are well maintained, electric is solid. We lost electric 2 times in our stay but both times it was not the parks fault and it came back quickly. Water pressure is also good and be sure to use your filters. The grounds are well maintained. There is a dog park and a kids playground. There are 2 ponds that have fish in then you can fish. WiFi is offered but we did not use it as we have our own. ATT, Verizon and Tmobil work well in the park. They also have a large rental house and are working on new cabins to rent also. The large house has a pool. The owners are putting a lot of time and money into improvements to the park. They are very helpful and nice folks. You can receive mail and packages while you are here. The park in nice and quite and our neighbors were very friendly. The town of Lufkin Tx. is just 5 to 8 mins. away. No propane is sold at the park but there are many places in town to get it. At the time we were leaving the price is $175 a week and that includes electric. $395.00 + electric for a month. No contract so you pay month to month. the owners send you an email with a link to make payment. I do not know the daily rate. We had a great experience and will be back when we are in the area again.
May 29, 2024 · Jimmie WeeksVery small rural rv park. Be sure you are self-contained as there are no showers or restrooms. Our problem was the smell and taste of the water. Even though we had a water filter, the water was terrible. I could smell the water on my skin after showering. I would not do laundry for that reason. We ended up leaving a day early. The owner was very nice about refunding us for that day.
Mar 04, 2025 · Cheryl WareJust bought a new 5th wheel RV (Brinkley Z3100) and decided to take it to Lufkin, Texas and visit granddaughters. I needed a RV park that was conveniently located and could support a 35' 5th wheel. There are numerous choices around Lufkin, but the web description of The Farm RV Park seemed ideal for us. I loved the fact that all of the sites can support 30/50 amp, good water pressure and dump stations on every site. Looking around, the drives and pads are crushed concrete and maintained immaculately. Every site I saw, was perfectly level. They have a great dog park! Roomy and escape proof. :-) I have a miniature schnauzer, that we refer to as a Houdini. If there's a way out, she will find it. The Farm RV Park also has two well stocked fishing ponds; with crappie and bass. I took my granddaughters to one and they enjoyed fishing with Grandpa time. We were there for a 3-day 2-night stay. They accommodate short and long time stays, with very competitive rates. The owners are quick to respond and work with you on any special request you have/need. If you are looking for an RV park, that is convenient to Lufkin, Nacogdoches, or Sam Rayburn Lake, I highly recommend you give The Farm RV Park a try. It's far enough from the highways to give you peace and quiet and close enough to shopping and recreation conveniences.
