Based on recent customer feedback, Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground is described as a "pleasant place to stay" and a "gem." One reviewer specifically appreciated the pull-thru sites with cement pads, highlighting the convenience for RV travelers. The campground's proximity to the "super cute town" of Magnolia, within walking distance, was also noted as a significant advantage, offering easy access to local amenities and attractions for those wishing to explore.
Another reviewer found the park to be "good for an overnight stay," emphasizing the presence of nice, level concrete pads for RVs. The basic essential hookups for water, power, and sewer are available at each site, catering to the fundamental needs of RV travelers. Additionally, the provision of a picnic table and a tire swing at some sites adds a touch of convenience and outdoor enjoyment.
It's important to note that, based on the available reviews, Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground offers basic amenities primarily geared towards self-contained RV units. Specifically, it was mentioned that there are "no amenities (bathrooms, laundry, etc)." Therefore, local users considering a stay here should be aware that they will need to rely on the facilities within their own RV for these services. This makes it particularly suitable for RV travelers who are equipped with their own onboard restrooms and laundry.
The entrance to the campground is described as gravel and is located right next to one of the ice vending machines commonly found around the area. The reviewer advises to "slow down or you could miss it," suggesting that the entrance might not be prominently marked. This is a helpful tip for local users navigating to the park for the first time.
The size of Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground is noted as "fairly small," and it was reported as "not at all crowded" during a Thursday night stay. This could be appealing to local users seeking a quieter and more intimate camping experience compared to larger, more bustling campgrounds.
One aspect that potential visitors should be aware of is the proximity of an active railroad track. The reviewer mentioned the presence of train noise and also noted the frequent noise from local automobiles with removed mufflers. While the reviewer found the park acceptable for an overnight stay despite these noises, light sleepers might want to consider bringing earplugs to ensure a more restful night.
Regarding payment, it was explicitly stated that visitors should "be prepared to pay with cash via a drop box." This is an important piece of information for local users planning a stay, as electronic payment options may not be available. Ensuring you have the correct amount of cash upon arrival is crucial for a smooth check-in process.
While the reviews highlight the pleasantness and convenience for an overnight RV stop, there is no specific information provided about the environment beyond the level concrete pads and the proximity to town. The name "Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground" suggests the presence of magnolia trees, which are common in the region and could contribute to a pleasant setting. However, further details about the natural surroundings, such as wooded areas or specific landscaping, are not available in the provided text.
Similarly, the reviews do not mention any specific features beyond the basic hookups, picnic tables, and the tire swing at some sites. There is no information about recreational facilities, communal areas, or organized activities. The primary features appear to be the level, pull-thru concrete pads, the basic utilities, and the convenient location near the town of Magnolia.
No specific promotional information or discounts were mentioned in the reviews. The price was described as reasonable for the convenience of an overnight stay near the traveler's destination. To inquire about current rates, potential discounts for local residents, or any special offers, it is recommended to contact Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground directly using the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, for local users in Magnolia, MS, or those passing through, Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground offers a straightforward and convenient option for an overnight RV stay. The level concrete pads, basic hookups, and proximity to the town are notable advantages. However, potential guests should be aware of the limited amenities (no public restrooms or laundry), the cash-only payment policy, and the potential for noise from nearby train tracks and local traffic. For a basic and pleasant overnight stop with easy access to Magnolia, this campground could be a suitable choice. Contact them directly for the most current information on pricing and availability.

Magnolia RV Park and Family Campground Reviews
What a pleasant place to stay! Warren you've got such a gem here! We will definitely be back! Pull thru sites, cement pads, super cute town within walking distance wish we could have stayed longer!
Dec 03, 2020 · Michele ZappaGood for an overnight stay. We were on a nice, level concrete pad. It has the basic water, power and sewer hook ups. We did have a picnic table and a tire swing. There are no amenities (bathrooms, laundry, etc). The entrance is gravel and is right next to one of the ice vending machines you see around. Slow down or you could miss it. It is fairly small and was not at all crowded when we stayed on a Thursday night. As others have stated, there is an active railroad track very near it and the locals seem to have a prerequisite to automobile ownership of taking their mufflers off. Always a shame when people suck. Be prepared to pay with cash via a drop box. For the price and convenience of an overnight stay near our destination, we were happy here.
May 27, 2022 · John SiejkowskiThese are great people! They were so patient with our multiple phone calls, questions, repeat calls for directions. We’d had a bad travel day, multiple mechanical issues, unbelievable traffic on the interstate and other delays. We were well past closing time when we arrived, yet Becky met us at the office and led us to our campsite by lighted golf cart and directed us in the dark. The compassion was a welcome relief to weary, worn out, and stressed travelers! The campground is conveniently located right off of I26. If you stop at the BP gas station on your way in, the locals may even lead you to your destination!
Nov 03, 2020 · Joy HuntingtonOk for an overnight stop but leave early. No amenities, loud trains and speeding cars and bikes at all hours. Strange woman kept coming to our site.
