Mckee Campground Reviews
Staying here while cycling the TransAm. The location is just off the bike route. It's a super affordable campsite for a cyclist passing through. The campground is still new so restrooms and showers are still being installed, but still a great option! Very friendly owners!
May 02, 2025 · Brennan$10 for primitive tent camping. Nice spot near McKee downtown - quick walk to the gas station. No restroom but it’s in the process of being built. Each site has its own picnic table. RV/Campers have electric and water. There’s a children’s playground 100ft away. Very friendly owner!
Nov 01, 2024 · Ben BrooksStayed a few days while we were turkey hunting. Marvin let us come in and stay the first night late no questions. Came down and talked with us the next day. Made sure we didn’t need anything, super nice guy and he has done a great job on the campground! Beautiful place we will definitely be back. You will not be disappointed!!!
Apr 20, 2025 · Cody FerranWe booked a weekend stay for my son and I Birthday weekend. We enjoyed that it was just a hop and a jump from our house. We stayed at a full hook up sight at the front of the campground where we personally enjoyed. Some great perks of the location of the campground is just across the bridge they are a splash pad and play ground for the kids. A short walk up the road you have our Mexican restaurant as well as a short drive you have save a lot and dollar store and the chicken hut and Dairy Queen if you want to make a food run. The owners are wonderful people with so much hospitality and kindness. They was always smiling and happy to help if they was needed. They sell firewood on site and working to grow the campground by adding a general store, primitive camping and cabins in the future to accommodate more campers. If you're looking for a nice getaway we recommend giving McKee Campground your business. And support a small business trying to make a difference for our county. We look forward to booking again soon.
