Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fremont, Nebraska area? Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park, located at 4924 N County Rd 26, Fremont, NE 68025, while named "Peaceful Acres," presents a mixed picture based on recent customer reviews. It's important to note that despite the name, this location appears to function as both a mobile home park for long-term residents and potentially accommodates RVs for shorter stays. Therefore, local users seeking either type of accommodation should carefully consider the following points.
One reviewer describes the owner as "nice and easy to deal with," which is a significant positive aspect, suggesting good interpersonal relations with the management. However, this positive comment is juxtaposed with several serious concerns. The reviewer mentions "awful" water quality and "muddy mess" sites. These are significant drawbacks that could impact the comfort and practicality of staying at Peaceful Acres, particularly for RV users who rely on clean water and stable ground conditions. Furthermore, the issue of "dogs barking non stop" could detract significantly from the peace and quiet that the park's name implies.
Adding to these challenges, the road leading to Peaceful Acres is described as "horrible" and likely to "beat your vehicle to death," while also being perpetually unclean due to its gravel nature. The reviewer, who travels extensively nationwide, characterizes it as "the worst gravel road I have ever seen." This poor road condition could be a major deterrent for RV travelers concerned about vehicle wear and tear and the inconvenience of navigating such terrain.
In contrast, another reviewer offers a more positive perspective, describing the park as "unbelievably peaceful and quiet" with "large lots." This aligns with the park's name and suggests that for some, the environment does indeed offer tranquility and spaciousness. A notable feature mentioned by this reviewer is the availability of storm shelters at both the North and South lots, which is a significant safety amenity, particularly in a region prone to severe weather. This reviewer does, however, echo the concern about the roads, wishing they were graded to reduce the bumpiness. They also suggest the addition of more streetlights for improved visibility and safety around the property and propose a cut-through road between the North and South lots to improve internal access without needing to return to the county road.
The discrepancy between the two reviews highlights the importance of considering various aspects of Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park:
- Owner Relations: The owner is described as nice and easy to deal with, which can contribute to a positive overall experience in terms of communication and management interactions.
- Water Quality: A significant concern is the reported "awful" water quality, which could affect drinking water, sanitation, and overall comfort for residents and RVers. Potential visitors should inquire about the source and quality of the water.
- Site Conditions: The "muddy mess" sites are another major drawback, especially for RVs that need stable and clean ground for parking and setup. This could be particularly problematic during wet weather.
- Noise from Dogs: Non-stop dog barking can severely impact the peacefulness of the environment, contradicting the park's name and potentially causing disturbances for other residents and visitors. Inquiring about pet policies and noise control measures would be advisable.
- Road Access: The "horrible" gravel road leading to the park is a significant issue, potentially causing vehicle damage and inconvenience. Local users familiar with the area might have a better tolerance for such conditions, but out-of-town visitors should be aware of this challenge.
- Peace and Quiet (Potentially): Despite the noise from dogs, one reviewer found the park to be "unbelievably peaceful and quiet," suggesting that the noise issue might be localized or intermittent.
- Large Lots: The availability of large lots is a significant advantage, offering more space and privacy for residents and RV setups.
- Storm Shelters: The presence of storm shelters at both ends of the park is a crucial safety feature in an area prone to severe weather.
- Road Grading Needed: The bumpy roads within the park are another area for potential improvement, as noted by one reviewer.
- Limited Lighting: The suggestion for more streetlights indicates a potential concern about visibility and safety at night within the property.
- Inconvenient Internal Layout: The lack of a direct road between the North and South lots necessitates exiting onto the county road to access different parts of the park, which can be inconvenient for residents and visitors.
For local users in the Fremont, Nebraska area searching for "RV parks near me" or long-term mobile home options, Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park at 4924 N County Rd 26 presents a location with both potential benefits (nice owner, large lots, storm shelters, potential for peace and quiet) and significant drawbacks (poor water quality, muddy sites, dog barking, terrible road access). The contrasting reviews underscore the importance of personal investigation and direct communication with the owner or management.
Prospective residents or RVers should contact the park directly to inquire about the current status of the water quality, site conditions, pet policies and noise control, and any plans for road improvements both on the access road and within the park. Asking about the availability of street lighting and the internal layout of the park could also address the concerns raised by the reviewers.
Given the serious nature of the negative comments regarding water quality and road conditions, local users should exercise caution and, if possible, visit the park to assess these aspects firsthand before committing to a stay or residency. Speaking with current residents could also provide valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience at Peaceful Acres.
In conclusion, Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park offers a location near Fremont, NE, with some appealing features like a nice owner, large lots, and storm shelters. However, significant concerns regarding water quality, site conditions, noise from dogs, and particularly the poor road access cannot be ignored. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" or long-term mobile home living should weigh these factors carefully and conduct thorough due diligence before making a decision about Peaceful Acres.

Peaceful Acres Mobile Home Park Reviews
Owner is nice and easy to deal with; however, the water quality is awful, the sites are a muddy mess and there are dogs barking non stop. The road to get there is horrible and will beat your vehicle to death, plus it will never be clean. I understand it's down a gravel road, but it is the worst gravel road I have ever seen...and I travel the whole country for work.
Aug 15, 2023 · Caleb HolsworthUnbelievably peaceful and quiet. Large Lots. Also storm shelters available at North and South Lots. I would love to see them grade the roads. A little bumpy. Could use a few more street lights around the property. Are you would also be nice to have a cut through Road between the North and South Lots so you didn't have to go back out to County Road 26 to get to the other side if you're driving. Also my friends tease me because I tell them I live in peaceful Acres and they tell me it sounds like a retirement home. Hahaha
Oct 03, 2021 · Becky GottslebenIt's really nice at peaceful acres. Plenty of space in between lots, quiet, and it's really relaxing. The manager on site is accomodating and the owner is nice. My children love playing catch in the open fields inbetween the north and south lot. It's not a fancy RV resort so there is no playground, swimming pool but that is fine for our family. But the rates are good, people are nice, and the lot size is awesome.
May 16, 2018 · Heeran WorkmanHorrible management. Can’t answer question. Doesn’t get back to you. Doesn't answer the phone. You’ll need a perfect credit score to get a spot here. Very bias.
Aug 12, 2022 · Rebecca AlkireVery peaceful but terrible water.
