Mosquito Lake State Park Campground Reviews
Ended our camping season Two years in a row here. November camping in the wider, 30 amp area is amazing. Four of us were there. We eachHad our own road. The flush toilets are nice! Lots of hunting and fishing were going on while we were there. Highly recommend!
Nov 15, 2024 · Deb ThompsonWe had a great spot! Dogs loved it. We rented a pontoon for the weekend. People were great.Only downside or surprise .... I wasn't ready for an outhouse (latrine) to be my closest bathroom. Yuck! I just had to walk much further. A latrine is a deal breaker for me. I will book closer to a real bathroom next time. Ah, but our spot was so nice. Wish the outhouses could be changed. I am much more of a glamper than a camper. Loved this campground! The owls were cool! Thanks!
Sep 21, 2024 · Andrea TajgiszerThis is a a beautiful state park! We spent a weekend camping here and boating on the lake and thoroughly enjoyed it! The campground is clean and is a very beautiful setting. The rain washed out the scheduled ranger programs, so we were surprised one morning by two park employees bringing an owl to our campsite to show the children
Aug 25, 2024 · Kevin HorstLove this campground! It’s a really nice state park. We have visited many state park campgrounds and Mosquito is one of our favorites. Not as expensive as private campgrounds and no long term seasonal trailers which is nice. Always clean and lots of nature activities to do. Campsites are spacious and all of them are level. Roads are paved and people are nice.
Mar 27, 2025 · Thomas GrayBeautiful Park... many different activities to enjoy... we enjoyed bike riding here as it was nice and level so we could bike ride for quite a while without becoming exhausted and overheated ... make sure you pack mosquito repellent as black flies and mosquitoes are plentiful at night... the staff was absolutely one of the best ...they were so friendly and kind and very helpful!!!
