Niagara Hartland RV Resort Introduce
For local residents in Gasport, New York, and the surrounding areas, seeking "camping near me," the Niagara Hartland RV Resort, located at 2383 Hartland Rd, Gasport, NY 14067, USA, offers a camping experience primarily geared towards RVers, though tent camping might also be accommodated. They can be contacted at (716) 795-3812 or +1 716-795-3812. Based on the available customer reviews, the resort presents a blend of positive and slightly less ideal aspects for potential visitors.
One of the recurring positive comments is the friendly and helpful nature of the people at Niagara Hartland RV Resort. One reviewer specifically mentioned the "wonderful people we met there" and noted that "everyone was kind, helpful and very friendly." Another echoed this sentiment, describing the staff as "great and friendly people." This suggests a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere, which can significantly enhance a camping experience, especially for those looking to relax and interact with others.
The environment of the resort seems to be characterized by open spaces. One reviewer described it as "wide open," which might appeal to those who prefer less heavily wooded campsites. A significant feature of the environment is the presence of a "big almost lake" where guests can fish or use boats, which are reportedly available. This adds a recreational dimension to the resort, particularly attractive to those who enjoy water-based activities. The availability of a lake for fishing and boating is a notable amenity for a local RV resort.
In terms of services and features, the resort offers RV sites with "electric sewer hook ups," indicating that it caters well to the needs of RV travelers. One reviewer mentioned that the sites have "plenty of room," which is a positive aspect for maneuvering and setting up RVs. However, another reviewer noted that the "campsites were too close to each other," expressing a preference for less crowded spacing. This suggests that while the sites themselves might be adequately sized, the overall layout might feel somewhat dense to some visitors.
Niagara Hartland RV Resort also boasts a "big barn that offers entertainment throughout the season." This is a significant feature, suggesting organized activities or events that could enhance the stay, providing opportunities for socializing and amusement without leaving the resort. The type of entertainment offered would be something local users might want to inquire about based on their interests.
For basic necessities, the resort offers "wood ice at office," which is a convenient service for campers needing firewood for campfires or ice for their coolers. Additionally, one reviewer noted that the "clean bathrooms" were a perfect aspect of the resort, which is an important factor for overall comfort and hygiene.
The overall atmosphere is described as "laid back quiet," making it a "nice place to go if you just want a laid back quiet stay." This could be particularly appealing to local residents looking for a relaxing retreat away from the noise of daily life. The resort also seems to attract travelers from other states, providing an opportunity to meet a diverse group of people.
While one reviewer mentioned that the resort is "a little dated," they also stated that this didn't detract from their positive experience, highlighting the friendly people. This suggests that while the facilities might not be brand new, they are functional and the positive social environment compensates for any perceived lack of modernness.
In summary, for local users searching for "camping near me," Niagara Hartland RV Resort in Gasport, NY, offers a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere with friendly people. Its environment includes a lake for fishing and boating, and it features a barn with seasonal entertainment. Niagara Hartland RV Resort Reviews
Stayed in our camper. Niagara Hartland was a nice place. It's a little dated, but that didnt take away from the wonderful people we met there. The campsites were too close to each other. I prefer not to be so crowded, but that's a personal choice. It's a nice place to go if you just want a laid back quiet stay. Again, everyone was kind, helpful and very friendly. I had fun there.

Aug 06, 2024 · Paul BestExcellent family owned and run camp ground. Very attentive to the rules for the safety of everyone! Due to the amount of kids, people and pets the speed limit is 5 mph. This is STRICTLY enforced as it should be!As for Joe Cool, your dog was unleashed and you were made aware of the rules before your dog attacked the animals at the campground. Rules are in place and enforced for the safety of the patrons. If you think disobeying the rules calls for a negative review then find someplace else to cause trouble. My family and I enjoy this campground and all the amenities! The owner and family are present, friendly and helpful!
Oct 22, 2023 · Melissa StollAn early 1950’s rvpark and probably has not had any updates. 85% or more seasonal or permanents. Not a problem if you don’t mind being stared at, not the friendliest folks. You felt like an invader. We were given spot 325. Very uncomfortable, we barely fit. We asked if anything was available. The guy said the empty pull thru we saw was a group that was coming in. Yet a pull thru near us was occupied by a much small rv than us for one night only and we were there for 4 nights . We won’t be returning.
