Oak Mountain State Park Campground Reviews
This campground has been fully renovated and it is amazing. Plenty of flat sites with lots of room. The views are great and the people are friendly. We stayed during a recent storm where a RV suddenly fell prey to a pine tree. The conservation staff immediately jumped into action and cleared the tree from the camper leaving no trace of the incident. Everyone was unharmed and the site was as good as new.
Feb 23, 2025 · Ray SuggsWonderful state park. I stayed twice last month, in A and B sections. As noted, the campground is very recently renovated and very nicely done. Unfortunately I was only stopping for the night so I wasn't able to check out any trails. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Great view of the lake from section A, looks like easy access too. Be aware there's a tight turn at the entrance to go into "B".
