Penn Creek Campground Reviews
Penn Creek was the best campground experience we've had. Each campsite was private and beautiful, and the facilities were excellent. A short hike from the campsite provided the most spectacular views of the CA coast at sunset. I can speak highly of our campsite, 007 for having a cute bridge over a little creek. Highly recommend!
Jul 09, 2024 · EliseThis place is a great location for the Trinidad area or as a base for seeing Redwoods NP/SP. Penn Creek is tent only and a smaller loop. There’s plenty of taps around the campground and a showers/toilets building. Each campsite has a fire pit and a bear box too. The sites are fairly spacious as well. We loved the location and the nearby trails in Sue-Meg, the little plant garden trail was so nice to check out.

Also has lots of first-come first-serve sites, great for travelling without reservations near the redwoods. The Penn campground has single-person, gender-neutral bathrooms and showers. Such a small change makes it so much easier for those who need it. Sep 07, 2022 · Jeremy LBathroom at sue-meg, Penn Creek, showers cost 25 cents per minute. Three minutes were cold and the forth and longer were just warm. Generally the bathrooms seemed old and worn out. Information place had a guy that was rude.
