Perry’s RV Park and Campground Introduce
For those in search of exceptional "camping near me" or even considering "RV park near me" options in the picturesque region of Red Lodge, Montana, Perry’s RV Park and Campground, located at 6664 US-212, Red Lodge, MT 59068, USA, presents a highly recommended choice. Situated along the scenic U.S. Highway 212, which provides access to the renowned Beartooth Highway, Perry’s offers a blend of affordability, cleanliness, and a tranquil environment that has garnered positive feedback from various types of campers.
The environment at Perry’s RV Park and Campground is consistently praised for its calm and serene atmosphere. One reviewer, who was car camping with a tent, noted that the space provided was "quite nice." Another camper, who has stopped in Red Lodge multiple times, explicitly stated that "Nowhere in Red Lodge has this kind of calm and serenity." This suggests that Perry’s offers a peaceful retreat away from any potential crowds or noise, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area. The campground also boasts a "spot by the river" for tent campers, indicating a scenic and potentially relaxing setting for those who enjoy being close to water.
In terms of services and features, Perry’s RV Park and Campground appears to prioritize cleanliness and convenience. The main shower house and flush toilets are described as "newer," suggesting that the facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date. Campers also have access to laundry facilities, which were reported to be of "good quality," a significant amenity for longer stays. For those in tent sites, the presence of a picnic table and a camp wash sink located between the shower house is a valuable convenience, as highlighted by a reviewer who used it "extensively."
Perry’s also caters to different camping preferences and locations within the park. The lower campsites, which might be further from the main shower house, are equipped with "portapotties at strategic locations," effectively avoiding a long walk to the main facilities. This thoughtful arrangement demonstrates consideration for the comfort and convenience of all campers, regardless of their site location. Safety is also addressed in the lower campground with "several streetlights" that make walking safer, particularly in an area where wildlife, such as bears, might be present. The allowance of campfires (usually) adds to the traditional camping experience, allowing guests to enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a fire under the Montana sky.
One particularly noteworthy aspect of Perry’s RV Park and Campground is its affordability. A reviewer from England humorously described it as "cheap as chips," indicating that it offers excellent value for money. This is a significant advantage, especially for travelers who are budget-conscious but still desire a clean and pleasant camping experience near the attractions of Red Lodge and the Beartooth Highway.
While one tent camper noted "No hook up for my tent," this is typical for tent-only sites in most campgrounds. However, the availability of RV sites with hookups is implied by the name "Perry’s RV Park and Campground," suggesting that those traveling with recreational vehicles can likely find suitable sites with necessary utilities. To confirm the specific types and availability of RV hookups (water, electricity, sewer), it would be advisable to contact the campground directly.
The cleanliness of the facilities is consistently praised. The porta potties in the lower campground were described as looking "like it’s ready for Sgt Majors inspection," indicating a high standard of cleanliness. Similarly, the showers were reported to be "just about as clean as they get in campsites," further reinforcing the campground's commitment to hygiene and guest comfort. The reviewer also noted that "Time and money have been spent on this place," suggesting ongoing investment in maintaining and improving the facilities.

Perry’s RV Park and Campground Reviews
All and All an excellent campground. We are carcampers with a tent and the space we had was quite nice. The main showerhouse and flush toilets were newer and laundry (which we used) was of good quality. There was a picnic table and a camp wash sink between the shower house which we used extensively. The lower campsites have portapotties at strategic locations avoiding a long walk up to the main showerhouse. There are several streetlights in the lower campground which make walking safer (from bears). Campfires are usually allowed. We visited September 2023.
Nov 06, 2024 · Den UsaLove this place. As we say in England it’s cheap as chips. No hook up for my tent but a spot by the river. Damn this place is nice. Porta potty 20m away and looks like it’s ready for Sgt Majors inspection. Showers were just about as clean as they get in campsites. Time and money have been spent on this place. Nowhere in Red Lodge has this kind of calm and serenity and I’ve stopped in RL more than a few times. Hope you like the pics….safe travels.
Sep 09, 2024 · Dean CravenBeautiful campground, clean washrooms, super friendly staff, what a great location at the base of the Bearstooth pass. Prices are very reasonable for this beautiful location! Only complaint we had, the ports potties needed supplies and didn’t get tended too while we stayed there for 2 days, it appeared that they were short-staffed, the walk to the flush toilets isn’t far and they were perfect.
Aug 17, 2024 · Dug ForsterLovely place. No sewer hookups. Sites mostly level. Watch the divots - we got stuck.ProsService - wonderful. A lovely work camper was delightful.Location - You don't much better. Right on a *raging* creek (6/17/24), 5 minutes from town, just at the base of the mountains. Awesome.Water/Power - Good pressure, 30/50 amp, good placementBathrooms - Large, very clean and plenty of *HOT* water. Very hot. Wonderful.ConsNo Sewer at the site. Only a dump station. Pretty expensive for no sewerBig Rigs - Make sure you know which way you need to turn for your site *before* you pull in. The office is to the left. Some sites are to the right. If you turn left and need to turn around, it is a PITA for big rigsDivots - There was a divot in my spot and my RV sank to my jacks. Took me 30 minutes to get enough wood under the tires to get out. Check firstSites - I was to the right, in #46. 46 is actually the turn-around lane, so we wound up just blocking off the entire turn-around.
Jun 20, 2024 · Pete AustinOur tent site was super quiet. We were less than 10 feet from the creek and in the shade. Perfect. Also, the bathrooms are very clean and the staff is helpful.and friendly.
