Pickerel Lake State Forest Campground

Pickerel Lake Rd, Vanderbilt, MI 49795, USA

4.0
Great campground, the road in was a little on the rough side and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about getting stuck towing a trailer and all but we did fine in the end. The lake is not much use for fishing from shore but with a canoe or small boat or something there are some fish to be had. That said I certainly understand that there are better fishing opportunities readily available at other spots nearby. It is a very pretty location. Large campground with lots of sizeable spots and it was pretty quiet in the fall when we were there. - Charles Vandenberg
