The "pine top" in the name itself implies a setting within a pine forest or at a high elevation offering panoramic views. The presence of hiking trails nearby suggests that the campground likely provides access or information regarding these trails. Individual campsites are expected, although the reviews do not specify the types (e.g., tent-only, RV-friendly). Given the "private" nature, the number of campsites might be limited, contributing to the quieter atmosphere. It's reasonable to assume the presence of basic campsite amenities such as picnic tables and fire pits, although these are not explicitly mentioned. Pinetop Recreation Camp Reviews
Had a great experience camping near pinecone lodge no 7. Great hiking!
May 11, 2024 · Monty AndersonNice "private" campground. Rustic yet has running water and flush toilets.Pool is solar heated. Facility is well maintained. Beautiful vistas
Jun 04, 2022 · Gary BClean facilities and beautiful property. We went up to stay a night and provide some service on the trail.
Oct 17, 2023 · Brian ColemanThis is a campsite owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is maintained by volunteers, and is a really nice place. It very well suited to large groups. It has cabins and tent spots. Cabins are simple with bunk shelves thru them so you need to bring your pads/mattresses to sleep on, as well as a lamp as most of them do not have power. There is a nice pool there. But you'll need to provide your own life guards. Hot showers, bathrooms, and a nice commercial kitchen, and larger mess hall with tables and chairs. Above the mess hall is a larger social area with couches and games.
