Google gave me the wrong directions. Instead of taking the sharp right up to the ski lodge, instead stay straight on the dirt road. You’ll go 2.7 miles and make a right, followed by another dirt road for 1.5 miles right to the campsite. It’s $10 or $5 a night if you have your annual parks pass. Plenty of level campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. Also has a bathroom. There is a cold spring coming out of a pipe just behind campsite #8. I just used it to rinse off the dust and it was glorious. I assume it’s probably safe to drink if filtered. Beautiful mountain! - Terry Drengson

Visitors can expect extremely beautiful views of the valley on both sides of the campground, suggesting a location that offers panoramic vistas and a sense of being immersed in nature. The terrain likely features typical mountain vegetation, providing a backdrop of forests and natural landscapes. The air is likely fresh and clean, typical of higher elevations and forested areas. One unique environmental feature mentioned by a visitor is a cold spring flowing from a pipe located just behind campsite #8. This natural spring offers a refreshing way to rinse off dust and adds a touch of natural resourcefulness to the camping experience. While one reviewer speculated about its potability if filtered, it's important for campers to exercise caution and verify the safety of untreated water sources before consumption. The overall environment promises a scenic and refreshing mountain getaway for those seeking a respite from urban life.

Each campsite is equipped with a picnic table and a fire pit, allowing campers to comfortably enjoy meals outdoors and have campfires for warmth and cooking (subject to any fire restrictions in place). A bathroom facility is also available, although one reviewer noted that it "could use a little bit of attention," suggesting that while present, the upkeep might be basic. A visitor registration log is in place, but it was reported to be full and in need of upkeep, indicating a potential area for improvement in campground management.
