Lovely setting, surrounded by the mountains. We went for the day, just to swim. Nice swimming beach in a cove. Sandy beach with volleyball nets installed, and bathrooms in a building. There's a shower station on the sidewalk, so you can wash off the sand before you leave. $5 per car admission is very reasonable. Not crowded on a hot summer day! No alcohol allowed in the swimming area, but there are many picnic shelters in the surrounding area, and it is allowed there. Plenty of grills and trash cans, and everything was kept very well. Very nice park ranger came through. The cove is out of the way of boat traffic. We'll be back!! - Jan Lauderdale
