my boyfriend and 2 pups had missed out on a campsite due to spontaneity; we called 15 locations, some didn’t answer but bev did!! she took my name and number and said she’d call in 10 minutes to ensure they had a place for us to stay. well to our surprise someone had left a day early! she waited for us to get to the ranch at the end of the lane way and proceeded to escort us to our spot! to say this place was not magic would be an understatement. we parked our tent next to the beaver pond and listened to the frogs croak until late in the night. while we weren’t able to get much of a look around the ranch, we did see many wild creatures and left only footprints where we were allowed! thank you to everyone who keeps this ranch up and running and beautiful! highly, highly recommend the powder creek campground, we’ll hopefully be back next year!! - Shelby Buell
