Robertson RV Introduce
For local users searching for "camping near me" in the Five Points, Alabama area, Robertson RV, located at 1195 Co Rd 438, Five Points, AL 36855, USA, presents a dual offering as both a campground and an RV service provider. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Robertson RV based on recent customer reviews available online, allowing potential visitors to make informed decisions.
It's important to note that the customer feedback regarding Robertson RV's services is mixed, particularly concerning RV repairs conducted at their location. One customer shared a negative experience detailing a significant delay and lack of completed repair work over a three-month period. This reviewer expressed frustration with the communication and the eventual need to retrieve their unrepaired camper after twelve weeks. Furthermore, this customer reported an unpleasant interaction with the owner and recommended seeking RV repair services elsewhere.
This negative review highlights potential concerns regarding the efficiency and customer service aspects of Robertson RV's repair services conducted at their facility. Local users considering leaving their campers at Robertson RV for extended repairs should be aware of this reported experience and may wish to seek further clarification or explore alternative options for comprehensive RV repair.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering the positive feedback received. Another customer shared a contrasting experience involving an urgent need for mobile RV repair while camping at West Point Lake. This camper encountered an air conditioning issue upon arrival and was unable to find immediate assistance from multiple mobile RV repair services. Upon contacting Robertson RV (via a recommendation from the camp host), the owner reportedly came out within approximately four hours and successfully resolved the air conditioning problem.
This positive review underscores the potential value of Robertson RV's mobile RV repair service, particularly in emergency situations. The prompt response and successful resolution of the issue for the camper at West Point Lake suggest that Robertson RV may offer a valuable service for those experiencing RV problems while camping in the surrounding areas and in need of immediate assistance. The reviewer expressed sincere gratitude and indicated a willingness to utilize their services again in the future.
Considering these contrasting experiences, local users searching for "camping near me" who might also anticipate needing RV repair services should carefully weigh their options. If the primary need is a campsite and on-site RV repair is a secondary consideration, further investigation into the campground facilities and policies would be advisable. Conversely, for those camping remotely and facing an RV malfunction, Robertson RV's mobile repair service appears to be a potentially valuable resource, especially for urgent issues.
Unfortunately, the provided information lacks specific details about the campground itself. Aspects such as the number and types of campsites available (e.g., RV sites with hookups, tent sites), the amenities offered (e.g., restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi), the environment and setting of the campground, and any specific rules or regulations are not mentioned in the reviews. To provide a comprehensive introduction for local users seeking "camping near me," this information would be essential.
To gain a better understanding of the camping facilities at Robertson RV, local users are encouraged to contact them directly using the provided phone number: (334) 885-6630 or the mobile number: +1 334-885-6630. By calling, potential campers can inquire about campsite availability, pricing, amenities, pet policies, and the overall environment of the campground. This direct communication will help determine if Robertson RV meets their specific camping needs and preferences.
Additionally, those interested in RV repair services, particularly on-site repairs at the Robertson RV location, may wish to discuss the previous negative review with the owner to understand the circumstances and potentially gain reassurance about the quality and timeliness of future services. For mobile RV repair needs, the positive experience shared by the camper at West Point Lake offers a more encouraging perspective.
Given the limited information regarding the campground itself, it is challenging to provide a detailed introduction to its environment, services, and features. Local users are advised to conduct their own due diligence by contacting Robertson RV directly and potentially seeking additional reviews or information from other sources to form a well-rounded opinion. Understanding the specific amenities and the overall atmosphere of the campground is crucial when deciding on the best "camping near me" option.
In conclusion, Robertson RV in Five Points, Alabama, offers both campground facilities and RV repair services. Customer reviews present a mixed picture, with concerns raised about the quality and speed of on-site RV repairs, while a positive experience highlights the value of their mobile RV repair service for campers in the surrounding areas. Local users considering Robertson RV for camping should contact them directly for details about the campground, while those seeking RV repair services should weigh the available feedback and consider their specific needs and location.

Robertson RV Reviews
I was not impressed by the quality or speed of service. We left our camper there for 3 months. I continuously had to call and ask about progress. I left them alone for 9 weeks thinking they were getting to it and trying to be patient. At 9 weeks they acted like they would get to it soon and that they had the part to fix our issue on hand and that it should be done soon. By 12 weeks we just had to go get our camper because it still had not been repaired. The owner was incredibly ugly to us and refused to fix it. If you’re looking to get a camper repaired go a little farther up the road to Southland RV.
Mar 20, 2021 · Leah JordanWe are camping at West Point lake, on day of arrival we figured we had no air. I called multiple mobile RV repair and no one had availability to come out. I asked the camp host if he knew anyone and he gave us this number! The owner came out about 4 hrs later and had our air conditioner turned on! We are so thankful that he came out on short notice and got it working for us for our trip! We will definitely remember him Incase we need him in the future!
Jul 08, 2022 · Justin MillerWe've used Robertson RV and have always been pleased with the work and prices. Two year ago we took our camper in for winterizing and battery replacement. Less than a week after we picked it up, Scott called me and told me they used the wrong price on the batteries and offered the difference back right away ... I told him to just take it off my next bill. The next year, $40 taken off the bottom of the invoice. Great service by honest people!
Jul 09, 2018 · Will SwannI pulled in Amity Campground on West Point lake and begin to set up. As I opened one of my two big slides, one side stopped. Half opened. I tried you tube and even the book. I searched the internet for a mobile repair service and this one was close and had great reviews. I called them the next morning after Memorial Day holiday and they sent two guys within 2 hours. Five minutes after walking in they had diagnosed the problem and had the part in the truck. The problem was fixed in an hour. I would recommend these folks to anyone needing mobile repair or on site work.
May 27, 2020 · Gene YoumansHave been extremely pleased with every interaction and repair job that Scott Robertson, his family, and employees have handled for us in the past 6 years. They are top-notch, congenial, and complete repairs in a very timely manner. Scott even came to R.Shaefer Heard Park campground to fix something for us. I give them 5 stars in my Review only because that's the limit. They deserve more! ~ Susan Poole
