Based on recent customer feedback, Seminole Campground appears to offer a mix of natural beauty and community amenities, making it a potential choice for both short and extended stays.
The environment of Seminole Campground is highlighted in several reviews. One customer described the "trees and creek" as "beautiful," suggesting a natural and potentially scenic setting. The presence of wildlife, such as a gator and an otter sighting mentioned by one reviewer, further indicates an environment connected to Florida's natural habitats. This could appeal to those who appreciate being close to nature during their camping experience. However, another review mentions that the sites are "very narrow" and "packed in tight," which might be a consideration for those seeking more spacious surroundings. Overall, the environment seems to offer natural beauty with some constraints on site size.
In terms of services and amenities, Seminole Campground appears to offer a notable range. A frequently praised feature is the "amazing" pool. Additionally, one reviewer mentioned that the "bathrooms are the best I’ve experienced on this trip," indicating well-maintained facilities. For those interested in fitness, there is access to a "workout room," and for pet owners, there's a "small trail/dog walk." The staff is described as "attentive" by one reviewer and "very accommodating" when a guest extended their stay. Furthermore, there seems to be a sense of community, with "regular activities and live music" available for those who enjoy social engagement. However, it's important to note a contrasting review regarding the treatment of dogs, specifically a large German Shepherd, with accusations of intolerance despite allowing dogs. This suggests that while the campground is pet-friendly to some extent, there might be specific expectations or concerns regarding larger breeds. It's advisable for pet owners to inquire about specific pet policies before booking.
Features of Seminole Campground that stand out include its natural setting with trees and a creek, the availability of a pool, well-regarded bathroom facilities, a workout room, and community activities including live music. The accommodating nature of the staff, as mentioned by one reviewer who extended their stay, is also a positive feature. However, the narrowness of the sites, as pointed out in another review, could be a drawback for some, particularly those seeking more privacy or space between camping setups. The contrasting experience of a dog owner who felt their large German Shepherd was not tolerated despite the campground allowing dogs is also a point to consider for travelers with larger pets.

The positive feedback regarding the pool, bathrooms, workout room, and community activities suggests a comfortable and engaging stay. Seminole Campground Reviews
My parents have stayed here a few times in their RV while visiting family in Fort Myers. I stayed for a few months this winter and loved it.The trees and creek are beautiful. We saw a gator and an otter while we were there. The pool is amazing. The bathrooms are the best I’ve experienced on this trip. Loved having access to a workout room and a small trail/dog walk. The staff is attentive. There is a little community with regular activities and live music if you’re into that. We liked it so much that we kept extending our stay and they were always very accommodating. It was the first RV park I’d stayed at and since leaving and seeing what the rest of the country has to offer, I really miss life at Seminole.
Mar 20, 2025 · Darla DumeIf I could leave a zero I would. They allow dogs, but don't tolerate them. I travel with a large German shepherd. Who is medically necessary. That being said. He is a German Shepherd, people are afraid of Shepard's. I get it. I went to the office to ask for staff to let me know when they would be coming by my site. Half way into the stay I was asked to leave. Because of my dog making accusations that the dog was aggressive. I guess you have to understand a Shepard. If he was 20 pounds and barked all would of been ok. The sites are very narrow and you are packed in tight. The pool very nice as well as the rest of the facilities. They really need to have a weight limit on dogs to not inconvenience other travelers.
Mar 20, 2025 · mary novakStaff and facilities were incredibly clean and well maintained. Only stayed for two nights, but could easily and comfortably stay for months. They have a number of social events throughout the week. Quite time does not start until 11pm. Just FYI, if you like to get to bed at 9am.
Feb 20, 2025 · Randy MouriGreat camp, I75 noise is evident and a little annoying but not impactful on our walks nor sleep. They say no children, but they’re here in the camp and pool.Great pet walking area. Park is comfortable with endless breeze and shaded sites.
Apr 05, 2025 · Gil OettingSeminole Campground is a beautiful, very well kept, fun & interactive community. Our dogs especially love the walking path/dog run. The pool is amazing year round. They offer a variety activities including bingo, cornhole, potluck dinners, pool parties and more. The staff works very hard keeping the park clean and beautiful. Nice bathrooms and laundry room, too. Our experience here has been amazing.
