Encore Fort Myers Beach Introduce
For local users searching for 'camping near me' in the Fort Myers Beach, Florida area (zip code 33908), Encore Fort Myers Beach, located at 16299 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33908, presents itself as an RV park option with a listed phone number of (239) 466-7171 or +1 239-466-7171. Based on the limited recent customer reviews available online, there appear to be both positive and negative aspects to consider when evaluating this campground for a potential stay.
One positive review highlights several appealing features of Encore Fort Myers Beach. The guest, traveling in an RV, reported a pleasant multi-day stay. They specifically praised the front office staff for being "friendly and helpful." Additionally, the pool and hot tub were noted as "nice," and the overall cleanliness of the campground, including public bathrooms and showers, was commended as "clean and very nice." This suggests that for some visitors, the basic amenities and staff interaction meet or exceed expectations.
The location of Encore Fort Myers Beach is also presented as a significant advantage in this positive review. The guest appreciated the proximity to various attractions and conveniences. They mentioned the ease of riding e-bikes to Fort Myers Beach and Bunche Beach, indicating good access to popular local destinations. Furthermore, the ability to walk to breakfast at Marco’s Diner next door and to live music across the street at Danny’s Saloon adds to the appeal of the location in terms of dining and entertainment options. The close proximity to a Walmart was also noted as a convenience for stocking up on supplies. Finally, the reviewer found the prices to be "very reasonable" and stated that they would "definitely stay here again," suggesting a positive overall experience and a willingness to return.
However, a more critical review presents a contrasting perspective on Encore Fort Myers Beach. This guest raises several serious concerns regarding the management, the atmosphere of the campground, and the handling of issues. One of the primary complaints is directed at the "assistant manager" who is described as nitpicking everything. This suggests a potentially overly strict or negative management style that could impact the comfort and enjoyment of guests.
Another significant concern raised in the negative review is the perceived lack of activities for children. The reviewer states, "There's nothing for children to do at this location," and further alleges that the front office staff "yells at any children who are trying to have some semblance of fun," particularly during Lee County's Spring Break. If accurate, this would be a major drawback for families traveling with children and seeking a family-friendly camping environment.
The issue of blocked roadways within the campground is also highlighted. The reviewer mentions that "corner lots in the back to the right are always blocking the road to get through so others cannot get to their RVs." This indicates a potential problem with site management or guest behavior that is impeding access for other campers, which can lead to frustration and inconvenience.
Further অভিযোগ against the management include allegations of yelling at both adults and children for supposedly driving too fast within the campground and being generally "loud" with "no respect for other campers." If these behaviors are condoned or not properly addressed by the management, it could create a disruptive and unpleasant atmosphere for other guests seeking a peaceful stay.
The reviewer also claims that "nothing gets done when complaints are made about the people in the corner in the back," suggesting a lack of responsiveness from the management to address issues raised by guests. This perceived inaction can lead to a sense of frustration and a feeling that concerns are not being taken seriously.
Accusations of "too much favoritism going on at this location" are also made, implying that certain guests may receive preferential treatment over others. This can create a sense of unfairness and resentment among those who feel they are not being treated equally.
The reviewer specifically names "Rebecca nor Karen" (presumably members of the management or staff) and alleges that they "never drive in the back to make sure no shady business is being done," raising concerns about the level of supervision and security within the campground.
A particularly concerning incident involving a dog attack is described. The reviewer states that "a dog that broke loose and attacked another camper and his LEASHED dog," and claims that the owner of the aggressive dog "was not asked to leave, nor was the situation resolved." Instead, a "mass text went out that all dogs need to be leashed," which the reviewer felt was an insufficient response that failed to hold the responsible dog owner accountable or offer an apology to the victim. This incident raises serious questions about the campground's policies and procedures for ensuring the safety and well-being of its guests and their pets.
Finally, the reviewer alleges that "the cleaning lady for the shower house uses the soap from the laundry room to clean the shower houses," raising concerns about hygiene and the proper use of cleaning supplies. When these complaints were reportedly made to "Karen," the reviewer claims that "she did nothing about it," further reinforcing the perception of ineffective management.
The critical reviewer concludes by stating, "There are cheaper and nicer locations in Florida," suggesting that local users may find better value and a more positive experience at other campgrounds in the area.
In conclusion, Encore Fort Myers Beach appears to be a campground with a convenient location offering proximity to beaches, dining, entertainment, and shopping, as highlighted by one positive review. However, a more critical review raises significant concerns about the management style, lack of child-friendly activities, issues with disruptive guests and blocked roadways, perceived favoritism, and the handling of serious incidents such as a dog attack. Local users searching for 'camping near me' should carefully weigh these contrasting perspectives. While some guests may have a positive experience, the serious allegations made in the negative review warrant thorough consideration and potentially further investigation or seeking out more recent and comprehensive feedback from other sources before making a decision to stay at Encore Fort Myers Beach.

Encore Fort Myers Beach Reviews
Traveling in our rv, we ended up staying here for a few days and enjoyed our stay. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and hot tub were nice. All areas were clean. Public bathrooms and showers were clean and very nice. Location was great! We rode our e-bikes to Ft Myers beach and Bunche beach. Walked to breakfast next door at Marco’s Diner and across the street to listen to some bands at Danny’s Saloon. Walmart was very close too. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

Mar 18, 2025 · Adrienne Nicole H.For the life of me. I DO NOT KNOW WHY THE RATINGS ARE 3.7. They are definitely a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Place. Over all the people at the front desk communicates. And are very courteous. The laundry room is great, The swimming pool is very inviting, the location is the best, Cause Walmart, Publix, and alot of restaurants are near by. The yards are very well kept, i don't know why some of the reviews said there's trash everywhere, there's definitely no trash . There is a trash compactor up front for us to take there. There is also a dog park for our fur babies. The people here are friendly, and I enjoy being here. So before u judge the 3.7 review, Don't believe it. This is like i said ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .
Dec 19, 2024 · Angie McleodSo as I read the reviews I come to the conclusion some people have nothing better to do than complain and use no common sense. If you read 8 months to 2 yrs ago reviews you see it says dirty , garbage all around , dilapidated trailers and so on if there not smart enough to figure out this part of the country was devastated by a hurricane that’s on them . As far as my review goes this is my 2nd year here after the beach was ravaged and the difference between this year and last year there’s no comparison. Most of dilapidated trailers are gone or cleaned up the new power is done and old stuff removed it looks 100% more together than last year. I also see complaints about the size of the lots obviously you haven’t been to very many campgrounds cause I personally have been in way tighter spots and I drive a 43’ class A. As far as the girls in office they have always treated us with respect BECAUSE we have always treated them with respect all I have to say is you get respect if you show respect and again I’ve seen enough people show zero respect and then cry on the reviews how they weren’t treated well. With that said you can’t always believe what you see on the reviews cause some people are just miserable and will never be happy.
