Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse Introduce
For local residents and travelers in the Idaho region searching for "camping near me," particularly those with RVs, Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse, located at 110 Seubert Hts Dr, Cottonwood, ID 83522, USA, offers a highly recommended and convenient option. Based on recent customer reviews, this small park provides essential amenities, easy access, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for an overnight stop or a longer stay in the Cottonwood area.
Environment: Scenic Views Reminiscent of Ireland in Idaho
Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse is praised for its lovely and wonderful environment. One reviewer specifically mentioned that their spot looked like they were in "Ireland not Idaho," suggesting a picturesque setting that might include rolling hills, lush greenery, or other scenic features that evoke the Irish countryside. While the exact details of the landscape are not elaborated upon, the positive sentiment indicates that the park offers more than just a basic parking area. The view was also highlighted as a positive aspect by another visitor, further emphasizing the scenic appeal of the location. For local users seeking a camping spot that offers a pleasant visual experience, Seubert RV Park appears to deliver.
The park's accessibility is also noteworthy. It is described as being "not far off the main highway," making it easily reachable for those traveling through the region. This convenience is particularly beneficial for RVers who prefer not to navigate long or winding backroads to reach their campsite. Despite its proximity to the highway, one reviewer described it as "quite," suggesting that the park maintains a peaceful atmosphere despite its accessibility.
Services and Amenities: Essential Hookups and Welcoming Hospitality
Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse offers essential amenities for RV travelers. Both reviewers mentioned the availability of "hook ups," which typically include power and water connections for RVs. This ensures a comfortable stay with the ability to use onboard appliances and maintain water supply. Additionally, the park provides a "free dump station" located just a short drive away, a valuable service for RVers needing to empty their holding tanks. The presence of these fundamental services makes Seubert RV Park a practical choice for those on the road.
Beyond the basic hookups, the park boasts a "lovely shower facility," which is free for guests to use. Clean and accessible shower facilities are a significant amenity, especially for travelers who may have been on the road for extended periods. The positive description of the shower facility suggests that it is well-maintained and adds to the overall comfort of the stay.
A standout feature mentioned in the reviews is the exceptional hospitality provided by Alice, who lives on the property. She is described as "super helpful and accommodating," indicating a personal touch that can greatly enhance the guest experience. Knowing that there is a friendly and helpful host on-site can provide peace of mind and assistance with any needs that may arise during a stay.
The park is described as "small," which could be seen as both a benefit and a limitation. A smaller park might offer a more intimate and quieter atmosphere compared to larger, more crowded RV parks. Additionally, all sites are "drive through," a significant convenience for RVers as it eliminates the need to back into a parking space, making setup and departure much easier, especially for larger rigs or those less experienced with maneuvering. The presence of a guesthouse on the property is also mentioned, although one reviewer only stayed there to sleep and left. This suggests that the location can accommodate different types of travelers, not just those with RVs.
Features: Convenience, Cleanliness, and Scenic Charm
The key features of Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse include its convenient location just off the main highway, making it easily accessible for travelers. The availability of essential RV hookups (power and water) and a nearby free dump station cater directly to the needs of RV owners. The "lovely shower facility" provides a comfortable and appreciated amenity. The welcoming and helpful presence of the host, Alice, adds a personal touch to the guest experience. The drive-through sites offer ease of access and setup for RVs. Finally, the scenic environment, with views likened to Ireland, enhances the overall appeal of the park, offering a pleasant backdrop for a relaxing stay.
The combination of these features makes Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse a highly recommended stop for those traveling through the Cottonwood, Idaho area. Seubert RV Park & Guesthouse Reviews
After a long day of travelling we stumbled upon this location! Wow! We could not have found a better place. The park is small. Power and water available. A free dump station just a short drive away. Not far off the main highway, so easily accessible. All sites are drive through. We met Alice, who lives on the property! Super helpful and accommodating. Lovely shower facility. And we loved the view. Glad we found this place!
May 08, 2024 · Steve OlsonWonderful place with hook ups a free shower. It was quite in a spot that looked like we were in Ireland not Idaho. There was a guest house but only stayed to sleep then we left. If I go to this area again I'm stopping here.
Jun 28, 2024 · Elizabeth AStayed one night in our campervan. Reasonable rates. Nice view. Very nice shower with shampoo, conditioner, soap and towels provided. Owners are so nice. We will be back
Jul 07, 2024 · Laura GarvinWe camped here in a 40'motorhome. There is water and 50 amp but no sewer. Porta potties are handy and there's an awesome shower available up the hill on the property. Scenery is almost 360° of rolling hills and beauty. Jeff and Alice are great hosts. Lots to do in the area. Dog Bark Park, Pine Bar Recreation Area on the Salmon River is a 15mi drive and has beautiful dry camping areas if that's your thing and of course Saint Gertrude Monastery is lovely.
Jul 27, 2022 · Linda RittenhouseWe were on an RV camping road trip/adventure to North Idaho with our kids, and so fortunate we happened across this RV park! It was an unlikely stop for us after a week of forest and mountain camping, but so glad we did it! As the other reviews indicate, the unobstructed views of the valley are simply amazing and the stars bright and beautiful at night! Jeff and Alice were SO NICE and ACCOMMODATING! They showed us the way to the nearby RV dump station, they helped us out with firewood when we were low and they even loaned us a propane tank when we got caught short in the middle of cooking breakfast one morning! The sites are clean and manicured. We highly recommend giving Seubert RV Park a try!
