Silver Springs Campground Reviews
Man, i would love to give this campground 5☆'s, but the lack of running spigots, and working bathrooms on the lower loop makes this a low tier 4 star. The sites are nice and well maintained, some of them are pretty spacious with lots of privacy. There are several sites on the upper loop that have a small creek running next to them. As well as others that have the White River within sight.Lovey place if you like the white noise of running/ rushing water. Most sites only have enough room for one vehicle, Be aware! The new camp hosts were very nice, there was plenty of fire wood available to purchase for 10$ a bundle.
May 23, 2024 · Ian S.Clean and spacious campground along the White River near Crystal Mountain with small creeks and little bridges within it. Site #35 was huge, backed up to a trail, and seemed private since there was lots of vegetation between campsites. Nice to have two restrooms with sinks and flushing toilets in the campground but only one was operational in June.
Jul 20, 2024 · Ron CNice campground really close to Mount Rainier. We stayed at site 56 but there are nicer sites closer to the river. At least ours was fairly large. It was a quiet place with most of the campers showing up late in the day and leaving early. Unless you have a site close to the river you'll hear traffic from the WA-410 but you get used to it. Camphost was friendly and available. There was a ban on open fire which is normal at this time of the year. Overall, a nice spot to spend a few days.
Aug 28, 2023 · Patrick TanguyBeautiful campsite for a remote feel. There are both vault toilets and flushing toilets. Camp hosts are very nice. It’s a cash only site tho so make sure you hit an ATM before arrival.
Jun 21, 2024 · Claire ThennesBeautiful campsite. We tent camped at site 36 - and it was great! We were able to reserve the spot online months in advance which was nice. It was a spacious site and we only had one other camp site next to us and there was lots of space and privacy between us and the other sides were forest and river. The nearest restroom to site 36 is a vault toilet (which was very clean and filled with air fresheners!) but the nicer restrooms with flush toilets and warm running water is just a short walk away. I was surprised we could hear some traffic from our site with being so close to the river but it wasn’t that bad. The park hosts were very friendly and helpful - always driving around with firewood for sale and keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked. As we drove through the campground I did feel that the other sites that weren’t on the river were very small and close together with little privacy - the ones along the river are definitely the ones to try and grab! The river was beautiful and the feeling of being nestled in the mountains and trees was very relaxing. We would definitely recommend this campground.
