Timberline Glamping at Kissimmee Prairie Preserve State Park Reviews
What a beautiful place to be and stay! Nature all around, the sky at night is unbelievable, and the site itself was right in the middle of it all! The beds were so comfortable, with how hot it gets in Florida the a/c unit and fans were enough to take the edge off and relax and the site has everything you could want and more for an awesome stay out in wildlife! The visitor center also sells ice if wanted coming in or leaving the site, and there is an abundance to see and trails to hike. The glamp sites are the perfect thing to come back to after a long hike out in the heat and rest I recommend to anyone coming to Kissimmee prairie!
May 02, 2025 · Shane RadfordWe had an absolutely amazing glamping experience! Everything was perfect—from the super comfortable bed to the peaceful, beautifully maintained surroundings. The attention to detail made it feel both cozy and luxurious. We truly enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway!
May 01, 2025 · Tatiana ArangoThis was camping at it's best. Our "tent" was spacious and clean and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. We enjoyed dining under the night sky and saw a meteor with our bare eyes. Can't ask for more.
Apr 30, 2025 · Patricia WeinsteinWe had a great time on our glamping adventure. Our intention was to simply enjoy some star-gazing and we weren't disappointed. Although it was overcast the entire time it took to drive to the Preserve, once nightfall game the skies cleared. There was a bit of "light pollution" from Orlando, but we were still able to see plenty of shooting stars, satellites making their rounds, constellations, planets, and a bit of the Milky Way. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may want to bring an electric blanket and an extra-long outdoor extension cord for night viewing. Our tent was very comfortable--but don't forget to double-check that the door knob is unlocked if you need to use the bathhouse. We found out the hard way that you can unzip a wall panel near the door and "squeeze in" when you get locked out. Although there had been a lot of rain in the area recently, the roads were completely passable and we had no trouble getting to the Preserve. It is quite remote so be prepared to take your time getting there. A microwave would have come in handy, but we simply stopped and picked up deli sandwiches.
Mar 01, 2025 · Pat HWe loved everything about our glamping experience! The tent is spacious, comfortable beds, convenient mini fridge and coffee maker. There is a shared spigot nearby for handwashing/dishes etc. We enjoyed the nearby trails with our dogs, spectacular stargazing at night and hanging together on the front deck and grilling out. We will definitely be back!
