Son's Blue River Camp Reviews
Our group of friends went glamping here for the first time with our families, and we absolutely loved it! What a find!It all starts with service and these folks are serious about it. The glamping tents are totally luxurious. Beds were cozy, A/C was new and kept the room cool perfectly, nice and clean floors, TV, perfect sized microwave, fridge, electric stove, coffee maker with supplies, and plenty of space to keep your belongings. The amenities were spotless. Bathrooms were CLEAN! Showers were CLEAN! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to accommodate us making our stay even more enjoyable. We came from Houston and can’t wait to come back! INCREDIBLE!!!
Apr 20, 2025 · Kamran AhmadMy family had a wonderful day! We were greeted with warm friendly smiles and enjoyed our two story cabana. We swam, floated and cooled off in the river. We grilled lunch on the exceptionally clean grill provided. Rested in the hammock. Played a few rounds of cornhole. There were adequate plugs and space to plug in our slushie machine. Trash can and bag was provided too! We watched the staff taking pride in their jobs as they were hustling and helping guests. We can’t wait to spend another day here!
Apr 19, 2025 · Sheryl ElizabethWe had a really fun time at Blue River Camp! The place was super clean and had everything we needed, which made our stay really comfortable. The only downside was the music situation. Our cabana was right between two others, one blasting rock and the other playing rap, so it was a bit much at times. We were literally like, “OMG!” Also, there’s only one person working the cashier, so bit of a wait if you’re just trying to grab something quick. Still, overall a fun experience, just maybe bring some earplugs if you're looking for peace and quiet!
Apr 21, 2025 · Sarah Amer AhmedI had a very disappointing experience at this cabin rental. I specifically booked a river view cabin, but upon calling them, I was told that all cabins were fully booked and there were no vacancies. However, when we arrived, the entire place was completely empty—no guests, no occupied cabins, no tents. It became clear that they never actually had any river-view cabins to begin with, which felt like a dishonest marketing tactic. To make matters worse, the key didn’t work, and we were left waiting outside for nearly two hours with no one available to assist us. The lack of customer service was shocking. When we finally got inside, we were met with dirty rooms, filthy beds, and a horrible odor. It was clear that the place hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. There were no toiletries, no cleaning supplies, and absolutely no effort to maintain basic hygiene. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise others to stay far away from this place. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!
Mar 04, 2025 · amitis sasaniThe service here was amazing. There weren't alot of staff around because of the off season and middle of the week timing, but we just called the main number posted everywhere or emailed and we were assisted immediately. We lost a fishing pole before we left, which the staff found after we were on our way home already. We told them to keep it because it wouldn't be worth the money to ship to us, and they said they would hold onto it for us for our next visit whenever that should be. So sweet! (I believe his name was Jon?) Daryl, the shuttle driver, was very informative and accommodating, also friendly! He fixed our AC same day while we were tubing on the river. We will most definitely be back, thank yall!
