The Cabins at Iron Mountain Resort Reviews
The cabins are very cute and rustic. The one we stayed in had a full size bed up front and 4 twin size bunk beds in the back of the cabin. The window unit has heat and A/C, and the heater works exceptionally well. The cabins have power and several plug in's but no water, bathrooms nor kitchen/kitchenettes. The bath house is up the hill from the cabins. The community bathrooms are open to anyone but the showers/single toilet stalls are for camping guest only, and the staff will give you a code at check-in. We stayed in cabin 122 which is the 3rd or 4th on the left when you pull down to the cabins. The cabins numbers start at 119 and start counting with the first cabin on the left and go around clockwise in numeric order. We like the ones closer toward the front better than the ones back in the culdesac just due to having more space and less traffic congestion. They have a community firepit in the middle of the culdesac instead of individual firepits in front of each cabin. The staff and owners are great. Iron Mountain is constantly making new trails, which makes for a great riding adventure.
Jan 01, 2024 · Danielle TThe cabins were really cute although it would have been nice to have at least a half bath in them (a toilet and sink at least) but we really enjoyed our stay. Having private access to the bath house was really nice! They are pretty close together, but we met some awesome people staying in the other cabins so we didn't mind. It was so nice to be able to come back from riding and cool off in the A/C especially having kids with us. We are coming back in July for the July 4th weekend and we will definitely be renting a cabin again😊
Jun 14, 2022 · Jessica SurlsThe cabins are primitive, but have AC heat and electrical outlets
Mar 23, 2025 · DavidBasic camping cabin. There was a table, beds, and a heating/air conditioning unit inside the cabin. There are outlets for electrical items. They provide sheets, but bring your own blanket & pillow. There are portable toilets close to the cabins, and the bathrooms/showers are just a short walk away. I definitely plan on going back.
Jun 27, 2023 · Jerzey FinesseStaff was rude when trying to check in. After check in. Guest get armbands to wear in the park. So, on the way to the cabin the man at the gate was rude because bands was not on at that time. I even showed him the bands and we would put the on after we unloaded our stuff at cabin. This was the 2nd time staying at the park will not got back. Other things bad happen but to much to type.
