The Container Retreat @ 290 Wine Trail Reviews
We stayed at Unit #1 for three nights in October so we could go to Fredericksburg Oktoberfest and see sights around the area. The unit #1 has two nice windows in addition to the sliding door, making it very comfortable inside. The shades and blinds made it very private when desired. The container was very cute and everything was nicely fitted and coordinated. We were less than 30 minutes to everything we wanted to see. The neighboring Texas Mead Works and Untamed Wine Estates were wonderful experiences. The property is very well designed for a cozy feel with 5 small units in each circle and 4 large ones. We will definitely be coming back here and seeing more things we found that we didn't have time for. Love the container concept!

Dec 07, 2024 · Jhil MusicThe Container Retreat was the perfect place for my trip! The outdoor spaces are beautiful and peaceful. The interior was cozy and well equipped. I can’t wait to stay again.
Jan 01, 2025 · Beth JackWe absolutely loved our stay at Container Retreat on the 290 wine trail. Being in Hye put us so close to all the wineries I wanted to visit! Booking was easy online, and the property was exactly as described in the booking. This place was perfect for our quick weekend trip to wine country. It was pristine, quiet, easy to get to, and had a cozy bed with lots of cute little special details, like ample bottled water, a fancy subway tile shower, and cozy towels folded into flowers. We will most definitely be staying here again.
Oct 06, 2024 · Heather TarmanBeen taking road trips to the area for several years and drove past the property without ever knowing there were cabins there. The tiny house containers are set up exactly like you see in the pictures and are very well kept. They are just far enough off the road and up the rock-road hill to make it peaceful and very convenient to anything between Austin and Fredericksburg. Confirmation and check-in information came quickly, along with several tips on places to eat and things to do. Any concerns are addressed immediately by a very friendly and courteous staff. Really enjoyed our time there and will be back again.
