Loved the family time! We really enjoyed swimming & ice cream, the pond was neat with some turtles, very fun time overall everyone was extremely happy! Only thing was paid for electricity and the outlet didn't work was okay though, but the cabins are good size. Didn't like the beds not so comfortable but atleast offered. People at the store were pretty kind, porter potties and bathroom was very clean. Bonfire was cozy at night. Thank you. - Marie Gregory

The availability of swimming adds to this family-friendly appeal, offering a refreshing way to cool off during the warmer months and providing entertainment for children and adults alike.

The presence of a pond is another notable environmental feature of Thompson Hill Campground. One reviewer who rented a new cabin for two nights in late July described the check-in process as smooth. While the cabin was initially hot upon arrival, it was equipped with a fan and a bedroom window AC unit that effectively cooled it down. This suggests that the cabins are designed with some level of climate control for guest comfort. The reviewer also specifically noted that the queen bed in the cabin was "very comfortable," which is a significant aspect for a restful night's sleep.
