TT Campground Introduce
For local residents in Annville, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding areas looking for "camping near me," TT Campground, located at 493 S Mount Pleasant Rd, Annville, PA 17003, USA, presents itself as a destination with a history of enjoyment for some visitors. However, recent customer reviews paint a somewhat mixed picture, highlighting both potential amenities and areas of concern that local users should consider when making their camping plans.
In terms of environment, the reviews do not offer extensive details about the natural setting of TT Campground. However, the presence of an outdoor pool suggests that the campground likely provides open spaces for recreation and relaxation during warmer months. The mention of a mini golf course also indicates some level of developed recreational area within the property. While the scenic or natural aspects of the location are not elaborated upon, local users can infer that the environment is geared towards providing a range of on-site activities for campers. The fact that past visits were "always enjoyed" by one reviewer suggests that the fundamental environment of the campground has been appealing to some over time.
The services at TT Campground appear to include basic campground amenities along with some recreational offerings. The presence of an outdoor pool, although requiring advance registration for usage times, is a significant service for those looking to cool off during their stay. Similarly, an indoor Jacuzzi is available, notably without a registration requirement despite being a smaller, enclosed space. This discrepancy in policy might be something for local users to consider based on their comfort levels and preferences. The availability of a mini golf course provides an additional recreational activity, although it requires an extra fee for golf balls. One reviewer mentioned a multi-step online confirmation and check-in process, indicating that the campground utilizes technology for some aspects of guest management, though a recent experience suggested potential issues with its consistent application upon arrival. The review also touched upon membership aspects, implying that TT Campground operates under a membership model, potentially offering different tiers of access and benefits.
The features of TT Campground highlighted in the reviews include the outdoor pool, the indoor Jacuzzi, and the mini golf course. These provide recreational options for different interests and weather conditions. The mention of a dog park (inferred from the staff interaction regarding gate security in a past review at a different campground, likely a Thousand Trails location due to the membership reference) is absent in the specific reviews for this location, so its availability at TT Campground in Annville cannot be confirmed from this information alone. The core feature seems to be its affiliation with a larger network, possibly Thousand Trails, as suggested by the reference to "100 campgrounds for $315" and the discussion of membership dues. This network affiliation could be a significant feature for local users who are already members or are considering a campground membership for access to multiple locations. However, the caveat about "buyer beware" regarding escalating dues, with one long-term member reporting a substantial annual fee, is a crucial point for local users to consider if exploring membership options associated with TT Campground.
Promotional information within the provided reviews is limited to the mention of "advertising 100 campgrounds for $315." Local users should be aware of the accompanying warning about potentially skyrocketing dues, based on one member's experience of paying $1700 in dues after 20 years. This suggests that any initial promotional offers related to membership should be carefully evaluated for long-term costs and commitments. The reviews do not contain information about daily rates for non-members or any specific seasonal promotions for TT Campground itself. Local users interested in short-term stays or understanding the full cost implications of membership should directly inquire with TT Campground for detailed pricing and promotional offers.
The recent negative experiences with staff interactions, as described in one review, are significant for local users to note. The account of a curt greeting, perceived invalidation of online check-in, a dispute regarding guest registration, and an aggressive encounter with a staff member regarding speeding within the campground raise concerns about the current level of customer service. While another reviewer acknowledged that staff quality can vary ("Some employees think they rule the nest and make them selves a pest while others are a treasure"), the recent detailed negative experience suggests a potential decline in service standards compared to past visits. This inconsistency in staff attitude and service delivery could impact the overall vacation experience for local campers.
In conclusion, for local residents in Annville, PA, considering "camping near me," TT Campground offers amenities such as an outdoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi, and mini golf. It appears to be part of a larger network, possibly Thousand Trails, with potential membership benefits and associated costs that require careful consideration. While past visitors have enjoyed their stays, recent experiences indicate potential issues with staff interactions and the application of policies. Local users should weigh the availability of amenities against the reported inconsistencies in customer service and the long-term financial implications of any membership offers. Direct contact with TT Campground is recommended to obtain current information on rates, policies, and any ongoing promotions to make an informed decision about whether this campground meets their needs for a local camping getaway.

TT Campground Reviews
We’ve been here many times in the past, always enjoyed it. This weekend has been a totally different experience. We were greeted by a curt staff member, no mask 1 foot from my husband’s face, who informed us our multi step online confirmation and check in were invalid. Then she tried to tell us we would have to check in our daughter as a guest and pay for her, because she wasn’t with us at her the time of check-in. We informed her were well aware of our member rights, and that that was not the case. We finally were able to go pick out a site, and as I started to return to the ranger station to register our site a staff member tailgated me then flew by me in a golf cart, yelling and berating me for speeding. Staff here in the past were friendly and helpful; the change is disappointing and sets a bad vacation tone. They do have a very nice outdoor pool here, although you have to register in advance for a time to use it. They also have an indoor Jacuzzi, which ironically enough even though it’s a small space where you are in close quarters they do not require you to register for. There is a mini golf course, but you have to pay for golf balls. They are advertising 100 campgrounds for $315; buyer beware, your dues skyrocket, we are 20 years in and paid $1700 in dues this year. Sorry to say, I can no longer recommend this campground.
Aug 20, 2021 · Edith HaageThe idea of thousand trails is sound for a family vacation. However as always your experience will change based on the people they hire that you run into at the site. Some employees think they rule the nest and make them selves a pest while others are a treasure.
