Twin Lakes Park, located at 3506 Township Rd 34, Bluffton, OH 45817, USA, appears to be just that. Based on glowing customer reviews, this park offers a delightful escape for local users seeking a relaxing and engaging outdoor getaway.
The environment at Twin Lakes Park is centered around two beautiful lakes. One reviewer mentioned a 13-acre lake where "fishing was good," suggesting a peaceful setting for anglers of all levels. The presence of water not only enhances the scenic beauty but also provides opportunities for leisurely activities. Additionally, there is a separate "nice 3 acre swimming lake with a sand beach," which is a significant draw for families and individuals looking to cool off and enjoy a beach-like atmosphere during their camping trip. The sandy beach adds to the resort-like feel of the swimming area.
A unique feature of Twin Lakes Park is the "trail for golf carts around the lakes." This suggests that the park is designed with easy navigation in mind and offers a fun way to explore the surroundings, perhaps making it accessible for people with mobility issues or simply adding a leisurely activity for all guests. This trail likely provides scenic views of both lakes and the surrounding landscape.
In terms of services, Twin Lakes Park boasts a "well stocked" camp store. This is a significant convenience for campers, allowing them to purchase necessities, snacks, and perhaps even fishing supplies without having to leave the park. The friendly atmosphere is also highlighted, with reviewers describing the people as "very friendly," which contributes greatly to a positive camping experience.
Accessibility is another notable feature. The campground is located such that it is visible "right off the highway," making it "super easy to get to." This is particularly beneficial for those who prefer campgrounds that are not too remote and are convenient for arrival and departure.
One minor point of feedback was that "some of the sites had weeds and grass." While this suggests that ground maintenance in certain areas could be improved, the reviewer still concluded that "all in all, it's a great place to stay," indicating that the positive aspects of the park significantly outweigh this minor drawback.
Another reviewer described their experience as "very relaxing, clean, quiet, nice to revisit nature." This paints a picture of a peaceful and well-maintained environment conducive to unwinding. This guest, who stayed in a cabin facing the lake, had the wonderful experience of "watching Eagles and Hawks fishing in the lake" and even saw an eagle perched in a tree eating its catch. This highlights the natural beauty and wildlife present at Twin Lakes Park, making it a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers.
The owners also received high praise, being described as "very nice folks!" This reinforces the earlier comment about the friendly people at the park and suggests a welcoming and hospitable management team, which can greatly enhance a guest's stay.
Combining these reviews, Twin Lakes Park offers a rich environment with two lakes catering to fishing and swimming (with a sandy beach), a unique golf cart trail for easy exploration, a well-stocked camp store for convenience, and a generally clean, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere with opportunities for wildlife viewing. The easy accessibility from the highway is another practical advantage for travelers.

Very friendly people. You can see campgrounds right off highway. It's super easy to get to. The only thing that could be better is that some of the siites had weeds and grass. All in all, it's a great place to stay
Jul 25, 2023 · last call pullingVery relaxing, clean, quiet, nice to revisit nature. I set outside my cabin, facing the lake, watching Eagles and Hawks fishing in the lake. I watched the eagle perched in a tree and eat some of its bounty. The owners are very nice folks!
Aug 10, 2023 · Lisa BeltzIts a beautiful place. Well maintained and if you like a quite country setting, this is the place for you. They have all the amenities you need, plus the have paddle boat and canoe rentals, clean laundry room and the owner and his "significant other " are probably the best people I've met on the road. They're both kind and willing to help you and will even answer the phone and allow you to pull in at 130 in the morning. I plan on many more stays here and look forward to everyone of them. Top knock country camping!
Sep 20, 2020 · Brook HaglerEven though you're right off of the freeway, it is surprisingly quiet! Surrounded by farm fields which we loved. The sites could use a little more gravel, but are very level. It was too cold for us to swim at the time, but I'm sure that it's a great spot in the summer. We still enjoyed walking around checking out the different birds that like to hang out! Basketball court, and the play area for the kids was nice. The owner, Kevin, is one of those genuinely nice guys! We enjoyed our stay!
