Valley View Group Campground Reviews
Awesome group campground for river trippers. Fire pits, toilets (funky), primitive river access. Located on the New Jersey side of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. A Permit is required to camp here.
Jul 20, 2021 · John BrunnerThe park service cleans the privy everyday and removes the trash. Great for groups but a bit small for large groups.
Jun 30, 2023 · Kendra FullemThis is a decent experience. You need to get a code for the gate and drive your way towards the parking lot. You will reach the parking area for the campsites. The only downside is the restrooms.
Jul 14, 2024 · Vishal MadhavSo the campground itself was beautiful, tree covered and right on the river. Only downside was that although only one other site was booked, there were AT LEAST 25-30 people staying there with dogs and many children. They had a very loud generator that they ran all night long and they were screaming at each other in the middle of the night. 3 of the people in our group were chased/attacked by their dog. They hung meat over the fire throughout the day and night. They left all of the bear garbage cans open (unlatched) and sprawled their tents and posessions into the common areas and walk ways. It was so unpleasant we cut our trip short. The outhouses were relatively clean. Cell service is good.
