This campground offers a blend of natural beauty and engaging activities, making it a noteworthy option for local campers seeking a relaxing and fun getaway. You can reach them at (989) 473-2211 or +1 989-473-2211 for reservations and inquiries.
Based on firsthand accounts from fellow campers, Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts provides a welcoming environment with a variety of offerings. One reviewer enthusiastically described it as a "great campground with a lot to do." This highlights a key feature of the resort – its commitment to providing entertainment and engagement for its guests. The availability of organized activities, such as horseshoe tournaments and cornhole tournaments, suggests a lively and community-oriented atmosphere, perfect for those looking to socialize and participate in friendly competition.
The presence of a clubhouse is another significant amenity. According to a review, the clubhouse offers Wi-Fi access, which can be a valuable asset for staying connected or planning your local explorations. Furthermore, the campground seems to foster a sense of community through events like a Saturday pancake and sausage breakfast, organized as a donation drive for the renovation of their in-ground pool (an amenity that is reportedly coming soon). This initiative indicates ongoing efforts to improve the facilities and enhance the guest experience.
Another camper who stayed for three days shared a more nuanced perspective, describing the place as "pretty nice" with "kind" people around. This positive sentiment regarding the general ambiance and the friendliness of fellow campers contributes to a pleasant overall experience. The reviewer did note that phone service could be challenging in certain areas, suggesting that connectivity might be limited away from open spaces. This is something to consider for those who rely heavily on their mobile devices during their stay.
In terms of facilities, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers was specifically mentioned as a positive aspect. Maintaining clean and well-kept restrooms is crucial for a comfortable camping experience, and it's reassuring to see this highlighted in a review. However, the same reviewer humorously pointed out that some individuals occasionally forgot to flush, a minor but relatable aspect of shared facilities.
The customer service at Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts also received positive feedback, indicating that the staff is attentive and helpful. Good customer service can significantly impact a guest's stay, addressing concerns and providing assistance when needed.
It's important to note that one reviewer mentioned an advertised pool that appeared to be closed during their visit. While the first review mentioned a pool renovation in progress, potential guests should inquire about the status of the pool when making their reservations to avoid disappointment. Amenities can sometimes be subject to maintenance or unforeseen closures.
Access to a beach area was another feature mentioned, although the reviewer noted that it was "kinda hidden behind the trails and stuff," leading to a bit of confusion in finding it. This suggests that while a beach exists, clear signage or directions might be helpful for guests to easily locate it. The water quality at the beach was described as "not too bad" but with occasional issues of it turning yellow or experiencing temporary outages. This is an important point for those planning to swim or engage in water-related activities.
For families with children, the presence of a "nice" playground was a definite plus, providing a dedicated space for kids to play and burn off energy. This amenity contributes to the family-friendly appeal of the campground.
The campground seems to be popular among those who enjoy fishing, with "a lot of people like to fish." This suggests that Sage Lake offers opportunities for angling, which can be a significant draw for fishing enthusiasts. The reviewer also mentioned that quiet time was generally observed around 1-2 am, indicating an effort to ensure a peaceful night's rest for campers.
One of the less favorable aspects mentioned was the presence of mosquitoes, which were described as "kinda bad." This is a common issue in natural outdoor settings, especially near bodies of water, and it's advisable for campers to come prepared with insect repellent.
Despite some of the mentioned drawbacks, the overall sentiment of the second reviewer was positive, concluding that it's "a pretty good place to go if you like the natural feeling." The beauty of the surrounding lakes and land was specifically highlighted, reinforcing the appeal of the natural environment at Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts.
In conclusion, Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts offers a range of amenities and activities that cater to various camping preferences. The campground boasts a community-oriented atmosphere with organized events, a clubhouse with Wi-Fi, and a playground for children. While a pool renovation is underway, the current status should be confirmed upon booking. Access to Sage Lake provides opportunities for fishing and beach activities, although the beach area might be a bit challenging to find, and water quality can occasionally fluctuate. The natural setting is appreciated for its beauty, though mosquitoes can be prevalent. With clean restrooms, friendly customer service, and a generally positive vibe, Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts presents a solid option for those seeking 'camping near me' in the Lupton, Michigan area. It's a place where you can enjoy the outdoors, participate in activities, and experience the natural charm of the region. Warblers Cove Campground & RV Resorts Reviews
Great campground with alot to do. Have activities from horse shoe tournament to cornhole tournament. The club house has wifi and they even had a pancake, sausage breakfast on Saturday for donations to renovate their in-ground pool (coming soon) I would recommend this place as a peaceful beautiful campground.
Feb 03, 2025 · Tyler NStayed there for 3 days, it wasn’t too bad, the place is pretty nice and the people around there are kind. Phone service kinda sucks unless your in an open area. The bathrooms are pretty clean and so are the showers, besides that some people didn’t flush lol. Costumer service is nice there. They advertised a pool, but it seems to be closed. The beach is kinda hidden behind the trails and stuff, we got a little lost. Also, the water there isn’t too bad except it turns yellow and sometimes doesn’t work. The playground is nice, the kids liked it. A lot of people like to fish which isn’t a bother, also quiet time is usualy around 1-2 am, mosquitoes are kinda bad though. Otherwise, i’d say it’s a pretty good place to go if you like the natural feeling, the lakes are pretty and so is the land around it.
Jul 29, 2022 · Kaytlynn HolubikFamily friendly, great staff, friendly folks all around the campground, even though we are tent campers. We love this place and go back every year. Stayed there from July 31 to April 2, 2020 I thought the Covid precautions were very fitting, and I never felt unsafe at any time. Bathrooms were very clean as were the porta potties. Than you for another great summer trip.
Sep 01, 2020 · Lynn BMy permanent summer vacation spot.12 miles of trails to ride on your golf cart. The neighborhood campers are awesome minus a few oldies who think they own the park and have issues but this is the place to be and spend your summers for sure!!
Oct 19, 2020 · michele mcglaunIn the interest of Throwback Thursday and in memory of my father. My parents use to attend this place in the 80s when it was referred to as Three Lakes Ranch. My fondest memories of my childhood is on this resort when it became Grand Lakes Resort in the 90s. I learned about the outdoors, fishing and hunting there. Use to frequent there 3 times a yr, Valentine’s Day weekend for Ice Fishing, and Memorial/Labor Day weekends with the entire family. I truly miss this place and would love to visit here again to introduce my children to where my passion for the outdoors started. One of my favorite cabins ever is pictured here. Soooooo many memories. Miss you dad, continue to rest in POWER! ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
