Jul 31, 2024 · Curtis GallagherSept 2024 was my first visit to the West Fork Cabin Camp. I've been home less than 24 hours and I've already made reservations for June and Sept 2025. The current Camp Host, Billy R is hands down one of the best campground hosts I've met. The guy never turned me away he keeps the place working 24/7 and literally opened back up after closing so I could add another day to my fishing license. The campground has been there for a long time and sits literally on the bank of the Madison River. It has a cool old Yellowstone National Park feel. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. I pulled my trailer up so I don't know what the cabin experience is like but from what I could gather talking to so many other guests I'm confident it's a positive experience.
Sep 16, 2024 · A MadWe love this the West Fork Cabin! My husband and I have been coming here for a few years and the place is clean, the hosts are nice and flexible, and it's really close to the river! It's also only a 45min drive to West Yellowstone, which we really like as it's not super packed and busy! I'd say the only thing we kind of struggled with was finding a restaurant nearby, but the place offers a pretty good kitchen so that was awesome and really saved us!
May 22, 2023 · Stefani CisnerosStayed here for a night, Billy was so friendly! He was super easy to reach via email to contact/to book day-of as we didn't have US phone plans but had cellular data. We ordered cinnamon buns for the next morning which he brought right to our tent site! The showers and bathroom facilities were also top-notch. Useful bear boxes as well. Thanks Billy!
Oct 23, 2023 · Dona TuLoved camping here with friends. Very clean bathroom and shower facilities. Some of the spaces may be a little difficult getting into with a trailer. This is probably one of the quietest campgrounds I have been to for a long time. Enough shade trees to escape the summer sun. These people obviously take great pride in their campground be cause it’s one of the cleanest I have been to.Staff was friendly.A short walk to the river to fish, a small fly shop, friendly staff, and loads of information including fishing reports. Short distance to 3 dollar bridge and other areas to fly fish. The anglers on the river were all very friendly.I will definitely be back!
