This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of Campfire Lodge Resort based on the available customer feedback, highlighting its environment, services, and unique features for potential local users.
Environment and Location: Campfire Lodge Resort is situated near West Yellowstone, the western gateway to the renowned Yellowstone National Park. This location places it in the heart of a region celebrated for its breathtaking natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and diverse outdoor recreational opportunities. The reviews specifically mention "incredible views," suggesting that the resort benefits from the scenic landscapes characteristic of the Yellowstone area. The description of the location as being "couldn't be any more in nature than it was" implies a deep immersion in the natural surroundings, offering a genuine escape from urban environments.
One reviewer noted the proximity to a river, mentioning tying a puppy up by it, indicating that the resort might be situated along a waterway, potentially offering picturesque riverside views and the soothing sounds of flowing water. The well-maintained grass and shrubbery around the property, while seemingly ordinary, are highlighted in a humorous context related to wildlife spotting (bears or moose), suggesting an environment where such sightings are not entirely improbable, further emphasizing the natural setting.
The term "rustic" used by a reviewer to describe the resort implies a style that embraces natural materials and a less polished aesthetic, which often enhances the feeling of being close to nature. Campfire Lodge Resort Reviews
Absolutely incredible! Our server was the sweetest, and the hostess was as well. You can't beat the view, and the serving size is massive. We couldn't believe how clean this place was, as it was very rustic and couldn't be any more in nature than it was. It was a perfect ending to our perfect vacation. Don't skip out on this place if you're in the area. A+++++++ all around!!!!
Aug 05, 2024 · Baby MylesWhen we came by for breakfast we brought along our puppy, Wendy was very gracious and let us tie our dog up by the river in the back. The service was the best we have had since we have been coming here and the food was Delicious. They DO accept cards and you no longer have to use a ATM or cash! The grass and shrubbery were well maintained so that you could see a bear or moose.... Haha. Jokes aside this place is a hidden gem bar none.
Aug 10, 2024 · Tim JohnsonCampfire Lodge is an amazing Montana jem. They serve up a fabulous breakfast with cinnamon rolls so good you have to reserve them in advance. Perfectly rustic and not too fussy! A wonderful wilderness dining, camping, and cabin experience. A great place to relax and enjoy the wildlife along the river.
Aug 18, 2024 · Kris HauckStayed in RV site 7-3-2024 to 7-13-2024, Wendy and her husband are extremely rude and snippy! Should sell the place asap! $125.00 per night to camp riverside!!! really??!!! Way overpriced! only accepts cash! Get with the times!! It's 2024!! Cafe is extremely overpriced! Grounds are not kept up as far as foliage overgrowth!! should be clipped lower in between cabins so you can actually see the bears or moose coming in for you!! Wendy does not give customers the wifi password, so no wifi unless you walk out to the road! Every campground we've ever stayed at gives it's customers wifi!!!!!! No dogs allowed in cabins! Really??? every single campground allows dogs in cabins! More and more hotels are allowing dogs! Wendy sucks! she's mean, rude, and miserable! Really need to change the bathroom cleaning time!!! 9:00 am to 10:00 am!! do it at check out!!!! These people know nothing about running a campground! nothing!!! Terrible customer service! Will not be back ever!! Highly, highly recommend not to stay there!! They really need to sell to owners who really want customers and are happy!!!
Jul 31, 2024 · Cheryl AzzizziUncertain as to how anyone can say this is not the best breakfast and lunch spot in the greater Yellowstone area. Service is friendly and warm. The food is excellent and portions are generous. The view from the dining area is spectacular. Make this a stop on your trip.
