You can contact them at (541) 338-7869 or +1 541-338-7869. Based on recent customer feedback, Willows Campground is noted for its well-maintained environment, clean facilities, and desirable access to the Tieton River. It appears to be particularly well-suited for tent camping enthusiasts seeking a blend of natural beauty and a well-cared-for camping area.
The environment of Willows Campground is a significant highlight, with its location along the Tieton River being a primary attraction. River access from several campsites provides opportunities for various water-related activities, such as soaking feet in the cool water on a hot day, as mentioned by one reviewer. While caution is advised for children due to the cold and swift nature of the river, the proximity to the water enhances the ambiance and offers a refreshing element to the camping experience. The campground also seems to offer a good amount of shade at most of the campsites, which is particularly valuable during warmer weather, providing a comfortable and cooler environment to relax in. The surrounding area of Naches, Washington, is located within close proximity to the White Pass area, known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. While there are no hiking trails directly from the campground itself, numerous trails are available within a short drive up and down the White Pass area, making Willows Campground a convenient basecamp for exploring the region's natural attractions.
In terms of services and features, Willows Campground receives positive feedback for its maintenance and cleanliness. Reviewers specifically mention that the campground was "very well maintained" and that the "privies we’re clean" and the "sites were clean." This attention to upkeep contributes significantly to a positive camping experience. The campground appears to be relatively small, with one reviewer mentioning that 12 out of 16 sites were empty by late Sunday of a weekend stay, suggesting it might offer a more tranquil atmosphere, especially outside of peak times. The campsites themselves are described as "decent sized," with at least one site (site 11) being large enough to accommodate 2-3 tents, making it suitable for families or small groups camping together. Many of the perimeter sites are noted as being "fairly well secluded," offering a greater sense of privacy and immersion in nature. However, one reviewer noted that site 5 is smaller and more exposed to the road, which might be a consideration for those seeking more seclusion. Additionally, site 12 was mentioned as being a little close to the privy in a breeze, which could be a factor for some campers when selecting a site.
The campground provides basic but essential amenities. It is mentioned that there is only one hand water pump for the entire campground, which means campers need to be prepared to potentially wait for water and should conserve water usage. Vault toilets are also the type of restroom available. The absence of more developed amenities like showers or electrical hookups suggests that Willows Campground caters to a more traditional and self-sufficient camping style. The positive mention of the "site Host" indicates that there is on-site management that contributes to the well-maintained nature of the campground and is likely available to assist campers with any needs or questions.

Willows Campground Reviews
Had a wonderful time! Campground was very well maintained. Privies we’re clean. Sites were clean. River access from several sites including sites 11 (our fav), 5 and 13. Site 11 has room for 2-3 tents and is on the river. Site 5 is smaller and more exposed to the road but river access is slightly better. Most of the sites have good shade. Site 12 was a little close to the privy in a breeze but still ok. Overall experience was very good. Compliments to the site Host!!
Aug 23, 2023 · Darin HansonWe spent 2 nights (Sat/Sun) at this small campground & overall liked the experience. By late Sunday 12 of 16 sites were empty. At night he road noise ceased and we could hear the river. Had a huge space & most of the sites around the perimeter were fairly well secluded. Found access down to the Tieton River which was a great place to soak our toes in the heat of the day. If you have children use caution around the cold swift river. While there are no hikes from the campground there are trails up and down the White Pass area. There is only one hand water pump for the entire campground and vault toilets.
Jul 10, 2023 · KOI PondThere were a few bees but our spot next to the river was gorgeous! Still allowed a campfire in the ring to cook on which was also a plus. River was cold, fishing was decent. All in all great spot! Road noise wasnt bad except a few semis with their Jakes.
Aug 09, 2022 · Brett AndristVery Nice Campground! Perhaps a little close to the highway, but the river does a halfway decent job of drowning it out. Only complaint would be the fire pit set up. There is a hinged grate over the top, but it's not low enough to get hot unless your fire is quite large. It made cooking a bit of a hassle.
Aug 16, 2023 · Kate TranstrumNeed a reservatuon I busy season. Check maps in satellite view to pick your spot, or thru Recreation dot gov. There are areas big enough for groups but parking for trailers limited to 30 ft. Areas adjacent to individual campsites are amazing and leave plenty of room to share. During rafting season there were plenty of kayaks and rafts coming from Rimrock reservoir area. Fun to watch. Not sure where to put in and take out if you arrange your own trip, But there clearly appeared to be guided groups that went in together. That is a good idea for safety. And after rafting there is a nice restaurant, on the river, with picture windows to refuel and relax and enjoy comraderie. The canyon is lovely with steep sides which may limit your solar if you rely on it for camping.
