Anderson Mobile Home Park Introduce
Anderson Mobile Home Park, located at 2183 18 1/2 Ave, Rice Lake, WI 54868, USA, is a residential community that primarily caters to manufactured homes and may offer spaces for long-term RV residents. As a potential option under the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it's important for prospective residents and visitors to understand the environment, services, and features typical of such a community in a location like Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Rice Lake, Wisconsin, is situated in Barron County, known for its natural beauty, including numerous lakes and forested areas. The general environment around Anderson Mobile Home Park would likely reflect this, offering a more serene and less bustling setting compared to major metropolitan areas. While specific details about the immediate surroundings of the park itself are not extensively detailed, mobile home parks in such regions often provide a sense of quiet residential living, with access to outdoor recreational activities inherent to the wider Rice Lake area, such as fishing, boating, and enjoying nature. The park's address suggests it is located somewhat off major thoroughfares, potentially contributing to a more tranquil atmosphere.
Mobile home parks are designed to foster a sense of community, and Anderson Mobile Home Park likely strives to provide a stable living environment for its residents. The nature of mobile home park living emphasizes affordability and a relaxed, low-maintenance lifestyle, appealing to a diverse demographic including families and retirees. Residents often form close bonds, contributing to a supportive social environment. The layout typically includes individual home sites with adequate spacing, and streets designed for ease of movement within the community.
It is important to note that the provided customer reviews offer conflicting perspectives on the park's environment. One review mentions a "compost pile" and issues with "dirt instead of sod" and "seedlings not turning out quite right." This could suggest aspects of environmental management or landscaping that residents may encounter. Another review, however, contains highly negative and unusual comments about safety and criminal activity ("find anything stolen from your house or even if ya have the desire to get shot"). This particular review is highly concerning and deviates significantly from typical feedback for residential communities. While such comments cannot be independently verified through objective public information, they represent a reported perception that any prospective resident or visitor should be aware of and consider investigating further directly with the park management or local authorities for clarification and reassurance regarding safety and living conditions. It is crucial for interested parties to conduct their own due diligence, perhaps by visiting the park in person and speaking with current residents if possible, to form an accurate assessment of the living environment.
Anderson Mobile Home Park, as a manufactured home community, typically offers a range of services and features designed to support comfortable residential living. While exact details specific to this particular park in Rice Lake are not widely available, general amenities in such parks often include:
- Individual Home Sites: Plots of land where residents can place their manufactured homes or park their RVs for extended stays. These sites usually come with utility hookups.
- Utility Connections: Essential services such as water, sewer, and electricity are typically available at each site. Residents would be responsible for connecting to and often paying for these utilities.
- Community Management: On-site or accessible management that oversees the park's operations, enforces rules and regulations, and addresses resident concerns.
- Waste Management: Access to trash removal services is a standard feature. The mention of a "compost pile" in one review suggests some form of waste or organic material management may be in place, though its condition might vary.
- Pet-Friendly Policies: Many mobile home parks are pet-friendly, allowing residents to live with their companion animals, though specific rules regarding pet size, breed, and leashing would apply.
- Parking: Typically, each home site would have designated parking spaces for residents' vehicles.
Beyond these basics, many modern mobile home parks strive to offer additional amenities to enhance resident quality of life. These can include:
- Recreational Facilities: Common amenities might include clubhouses for social gatherings, playgrounds for children, or even basic fitness areas. However, without specific information, it cannot be confirmed if Anderson Mobile Home Park offers these.
- Laundry Facilities: Shared laundry facilities can be a convenient feature for residents.
- Maintenance Support: While residents are responsible for their own homes, the park management often handles common area maintenance.
The term "RV Parks Near Me" in the context of a mobile home park often implies that Anderson Mobile Home Park may offer spaces for RVs seeking long-term or seasonal residency, rather than transient overnight stays typical of dedicated RV campgrounds. These long-term RV sites would likely come with full hookups (electric, water, sewer) to accommodate extended living.
For individuals or families considering Anderson Mobile Home Park as a potential "RV Park Near Me" or a place for a manufactured home, several aspects are typically highlighted in promotional materials or should be considered during your research:
Affordability: Mobile home living is frequently promoted as a more affordable housing option compared to traditional stick-built homes, offering lower monthly costs which can lead to greater financial flexibility. This is a primary draw for many residents.
Community Living: The emphasis on a sense of community is a significant promotional point. Many parks foster neighborly interactions and a supportive environment. Prospective residents might look for information on community events or social groups within the park.
Convenience: Proximity to local amenities, services, shopping, and dining in Rice Lake would be a key factor. Ease of access to necessary facilities, healthcare, and recreational opportunities enhances the appeal of such a location.
Location in Rice Lake: The benefits of living in Rice Lake itself—such as access to natural attractions, a smaller-town feel, and local job opportunities—would be inherent advantages of residency at Anderson Mobile Home Park. The area's recreational offerings could be a significant draw for active individuals or families.
Due Diligence: Given the highly unusual and negative nature of one of the provided reviews, it is absolutely essential for anyone interested in Anderson Mobile Home Park to perform thorough due diligence. This includes:
- Direct Contact: Contacting the park management directly to inquire about current conditions, safety measures, and any available spaces.
- On-site Visit: Whenever possible, visiting the park in person to assess the environment, observe the upkeep of common areas and individual sites, and gain a firsthand impression of the community.
- Local Resources: Consulting local law enforcement or community resources for objective information regarding safety and neighborhood conditions in the area around the park's address.
- Speaking with Residents: If feasible and appropriate, speaking with current residents to gather their perspectives on daily life, community atmosphere, and any concerns.
While the goal is to provide an objective introduction based on available information, the presence of conflicting and extreme reviews necessitates a strong recommendation for personal verification. Mobile home parks, including Anderson Mobile Home Park, typically aim to provide comfortable and affordable living solutions within a community setting. However, confirming that the specific park meets your expectations for safety, environment, and services is paramount.

Anderson Mobile Home Park Reviews
Nice to see the compost pile still open and in operation despite it's ingredients. But that's why instead of creating sod, you only end up finding dirt instead. And you're seedlings growing in it aren't turning out quite right.
Dec 14, 2024 · Eudaimonia AreteThis place is perfect if you wanna find anything stolen from your house or even if ya have the desire to get shot. Love the innovative mind that came up with such an idea. The staff here play the parts wonderfully and maybe someday I'll be aloud to join the team and live with hopefully Kayla
Sep 13, 2022 · J RushHillbilly shackville! Needs updating to newer than 1970s trailers and trailers placed on concrete slabs. Was peaceful, but then I didn't talk to no one other than who I was there for. For the most part trailers are very old, rundown, and unkept!
