Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in the Ocala, Florida area seeking "RV parks near me," Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park, located at 1720 NW 38 Ave #34482, Ocala, FL 34482, USA, presents a dual offering of RV campsites and long-term mobile home living. This introduction will focus on its aspects relevant to RV travelers while also acknowledging its function as a mobile home park, based on the available customer reviews.
One of the primary advantages highlighted by a reviewer who stayed for a month is the affordability and inclusiveness of the RV sites. They mention that the sites were "adequate" and came with all-inclusive utilities – water, electricity, and sewer – at a "very reasonable price." This all-inclusive pricing can be particularly attractive for budget-conscious travelers and those planning extended stays, as it provides cost certainty without the worry of additional utility fees. The same reviewer also noted the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the park, which is a significant draw for those seeking a relaxing camping experience away from the noise of busy roads or crowded areas.
The convenience of an on-site laundry facility is also mentioned as a positive aspect. The reviewer states that it is "reasonably priced" and has "plenty of machines," which is essential for travelers needing to do laundry during their stay, especially for longer trips. However, they also point out a significant inconvenience: some individuals would fill the machines and then leave their laundry sitting, preventing others from using them. This highlights a potential issue with inconsiderate users that, while not directly a fault of the park, can impact the overall experience of the laundry amenity.
Another observation from the same reviewer is the presence of "lots of cats running all over the place." For those who are fond of or indifferent to cats, this might not be an issue. However, individuals with allergies or those who prefer a pet-free environment outside of their own RV should be aware of this. The review does not specify if these are stray cats or if they belong to residents.
A common issue across many campgrounds, as noted by the reviewer, is the problem of irresponsible pet owners. They mention "4 sites with deadbeats that let 5 dogs loose most of the time, and loose dogs don’t get picked up after." This is a significant concern for safety and cleanliness, as loose dogs can be unpredictable, and uncollected pet waste can be unpleasant. The reviewer even included a photo of a loose dog as evidence. This suggests that while the park itself might have rules regarding pets, enforcement might be inconsistent, leading to negative experiences for other guests.
Despite these negatives, the first reviewer concludes that they "would stay again," indicating that the positives, such as the reasonable price, inclusive utilities, and peaceful environment, outweighed the inconveniences they experienced. This suggests that Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park offers a good value proposition for certain types of travelers.
Another customer provides a glowing review, describing Arrowhead as "the coolest little campground." They emphasize its convenient proximity to Route 75, a major interstate highway, while still maintaining a quiet atmosphere once inside the park. This is a significant advantage for travelers who appreciate easy access to transportation routes but prefer a peaceful camping environment away from highway noise. The reviewer specifically praises the "pull through sites" as being "long, grassy, level and beautifully kept." Pull-through sites are highly desirable for RVers as they eliminate the need to back in, making parking and departure much easier, especially for larger rigs. The description of the sites as grassy and level suggests a well-maintained and comfortable parking area.
This second reviewer also highlights a standout feature: Charlie, the caregiver, whom they call "the hidden gem of this place." Charlie reportedly escorted them to their site in a golf cart and ensured they were "all set," even meeting them after hours to do so. This level of personalized service and willingness to go the extra mile in assisting guests, especially after hours, is a significant positive and contributes greatly to a welcoming and stress-free arrival experience. The reviewer explicitly states, "We definitely will stay here again in our travels," indicating a high level of satisfaction with their experience.
Considering both reviews, Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park offers a blend of affordability, convenience, and a generally peaceful environment. Its proximity to I-75 makes it easily accessible for those traveling through the Ocala area, while the quiet interior of the park provides a respite from highway noise. The long, grassy, and level pull-through sites are a significant plus for RVers. The all-inclusive pricing for utilities adds to its appeal for both short and potentially longer stays.
However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issues with inconsiderate laundry users, the presence of numerous cats, and the potential for loose and unmanaged dogs from some sites. While these issues might not affect every guest equally, they are factors to consider based on the experiences of others.
The positive feedback regarding the helpfulness of Charlie, the caregiver, suggests that the park has staff who are dedicated to ensuring a positive guest experience. This personal touch can make a significant difference in overall satisfaction.
As Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park also functions as a mobile home park, it likely caters to some long-term residents as well. This dual nature can sometimes influence the overall atmosphere and the types of amenities offered. However, the reviews primarily focus on the experiences of short-term RV campers.
No specific promotional information or discounts are mentioned in the provided reviews. Speaking with the management can provide the most up-to-date information and allow potential guests to inquire about pet policies, laundry etiquette, and any other concerns they might have.
In conclusion, Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park in Ocala, FL, offers an affordable and conveniently located option for RV travelers, particularly those seeking a peaceful stop near I-75 with inclusive utilities and helpful staff. The long, well-kept pull-through sites are a notable feature. However, potential guests should be aware of the reported issues with laundry room etiquette, the presence of cats, and occasional problems with loose dogs. Weighing these pros and cons, and potentially contacting the park directly for more information, will help local users determine if Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park meets their specific needs for an "RV park near me" in the Ocala area.

Arrowhead Campsites & Mobile Home Park Reviews
We stayed a month here, the RV sites were adequate, all inclusive, water, electric and sewer at a very reasonable price. It was peaceful and quiet. I would stay again despite the negatives. There is a reasonably priced laundry on site which has plenty of machines, but… there is someone that fills all the machines and then just leaves them sit full so no one else can use anything until they get off their lazy butts ti get their laundry out, we encountered this issue often. Lots of cats running all over the place. As at every campground, however, there were 4 sites with deadbeats that let 5 dogs that loose most of time, and loose dogs don’t get picked up after. The dog in the photo was loose, as are two other dogs on the same site.

Penny , Dennis & Charlie are all racist . Peeny always has her head up her butt . Dennis goes along with what penny says and he's over the complex . Workers are all door heads . Won't fix anything .
Feb 02, 2025 · Dasia SmithGot to arrowhead late at night. The owner waited for us and made sure we got in to our spot. The prices are the most reasonable I have seen in the last year of traveling the staff is pleasant friendly and helpful .Its a working class neighborhood with real people and staff that actually gives a shit. These are good people that don't gouge you for all they can.It was just good to see that not everyone is about greed like most campgrounds I've been to.Cant believe some of these posts.People pay $40 for full hook up and then complain about some petty bull shit? Some nerve
