Oak Tree Village Apartments & Campground Introduce
Oak Tree Village Apartments & Campground, located at 4039 NW Blitchton Rd, Ocala, FL 34482, USA, presents a unique living situation by offering both apartment rentals and RV campground facilities. For local users searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Oak Tree Village provides a multifaceted option that caters to both short-term and potentially long-term RV stays, alongside permanent residential apartments. You can reach them at (352) 629-1569 or +1 352-629-1569 for inquiries regarding RV site availability and rates.
Based on the available customer reviews, Oak Tree Village offers several appealing features for RV enthusiasts. One reviewer highlights the presence of a "really nice place to go swimming," suggesting a significant recreational amenity for residents and visitors alike, especially valuable in the Florida climate. The mention of a dedicated "dog park" is also a notable feature for pet owners, providing a safe space for dogs to exercise and socialize off-leash. This pet-friendly aspect can be a major draw for those traveling or living in their RVs with canine companions, making Oak Tree Village a potential contender when searching for "RV parks near me" that welcome pets.
The availability of "quite a few dumpsters" indicates that the park provides adequate waste disposal facilities, a practical and essential service for both RVers and apartment residents. The reviewer also describes the location as a "nice quiet part," suggesting a peaceful environment that may be preferable for those seeking a more tranquil setting compared to busier campgrounds or urban RV parks.
Another reviewer provides a more nuanced perspective, noting that the pricing for long-term RV stays with your own RV is "not bad." This suggests that Oak Tree Village could be a cost-effective option for those planning an extended visit to the Ocala area in their own recreational vehicle. However, it is crucial to note the significant price difference mentioned for those renting an RV directly from the park, where the rates are described as "way higher." Therefore, if you are bringing your own RV for a longer duration, Oak Tree Village might be financially attractive.
The same reviewer points out that electricity is not included in the rental price, which is a common practice in many RV parks, especially for longer stays. Potential residents should factor in the cost of electricity when budgeting for their stay. The allowance of dogs is reiterated, reinforcing the pet-friendly nature of the park, but the reviewer also notes that some owners neglect to clean up after their pets, indicating a potential issue with common courtesy that prospective residents might want to observe during a visit.
A significant concern raised is regarding maintenance, which the reviewer describes as "a laugh," expressing hope for improvement under the new ownership. This is a critical aspect to consider for long-term stays, as reliable maintenance is essential for a comfortable living experience. Potential residents should inquire about the current state of maintenance services and any plans for improvement.
On a more positive note, the park is described as "kid friendly for the most part," which could be appealing to families traveling or living in their RVs. However, a safety concern is raised regarding speeders within the park, urging caution when children are playing. This suggests that while families are welcome, vigilance regarding traffic safety is necessary.
The proximity of the park to the interstate is also mentioned, with a suggestion to reconsider the fence blocking it. This could imply potential noise from the interstate, which might be a factor for those sensitive to noise. It would be beneficial to assess the noise levels at different locations within the park during a visit.
The apartments on the property are described as "remodeled," but the reviewer finds the rental cost to be "ridiculous" for what is offered. While this feedback pertains to the apartments, it provides insight into the reviewer's perception of the value offered by the new owners.
Overall, the reviewer expresses a mixed opinion, stating that the new owners "only see money signs" and may not be initially responsive to residents' needs. However, they also note that the owners "will work with you if you talk to them," suggesting that communication and direct engagement might be necessary to address any concerns. Despite these reservations, the reviewer enjoys their time at Oak Tree Village, highlighting the friendliness of other residents and the option for both privacy ("people do keep to themselves") and community support ("if you need help you can find someone"). The reviewer gives the park a 3-star rating with the expectation of future improvements.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Oak Tree Village Apartments & Campground offers a location in Ocala with amenities like a swimming area and a dog park. Long-term RV stays with your own RV appear to be reasonably priced, but renting an RV from the park is reportedly more expensive. While the park is generally kid-friendly and pet-friendly, potential residents should be aware of concerns regarding maintenance and speeding within the park. The new ownership's focus on profitability is noted, but they are also described as willing to work with residents who communicate their needs.
To make an informed decision about Oak Tree Village Apartments & Campground for your RV living needs, it is recommended to:
- Contact the park directly at (352) 629-1569 or +1 352-629-1569 to inquire about the availability and rates for long-term RV sites.
- Ask about the included amenities for RV residents and any additional fees (e.g., for electricity).
- Inquire about the current status of maintenance services and any planned improvements.
- Clarify the park's rules and regulations, including pet policies and speed limits within the grounds.
- If possible, visit the park to assess the environment, noise levels from the nearby interstate, and the general condition of the facilities.
- If you have the opportunity, speak with current RV residents to get their firsthand experiences with the park and the management.
Oak Tree Village presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. Its amenities and potential affordability for long-term RV owners with their own vehicles are positive aspects. However, concerns about maintenance and the responsiveness of the new ownership warrant careful consideration and direct inquiry. For those seeking "RV parks near me" in Ocala, Oak Tree Village is worth investigating further to determine if its offerings and environment align with your specific needs and expectations.

Oak Tree Village Apartments & Campground Reviews
There is a really nice place to go swimming and your also is a dog park so you can let your dog sleep. Let them run around. And also quite a few dumpsters in here too. Nice quiet part.
Apr 20, 2025 · Teresa ArtmanHonestly the price is not bad if you have your own RV and you are long term, but if you are renting from them( RV side) then the prices are way higher. Electric is not included which is fine, dogs are allowed but watch some people forget to pick up after them. Maintenance is a laugh, I'm hoping they get that together. Kid friendly for the most part, watch for speeders when kids are out playing. The fence blocking the interstate may need to be reconsidered since it's so close to park. The apartments "are remodeled" but for the cost you have to pay for them is ridiculous. Over all the new owners of this park only see money signs they really don't listen to your needs if you have any, but they will work with you if you talk to them. I do enjoy it here everyone is friendly and people do keep to themselves or if you need help you can find someone. 3stars cause it will get better
Feb 15, 2024 · Amberly VenturaI hate to give even a single star, oak tree village is disgusting from management to investations which do not offer pest control. Like I said a single star is nice enough keep away from this place read reviews lowest to highest to get a good observation.
Apr 25, 2024 · Alexandra DominguezMy husband and I have been living here over 2 years now. And we are so happy here. Our rent is reasonable, a nice large, working laundry room, by the way which is cleaned every morning, they cut the grass, any problems within your home, you called them and they schedule appointment, which is always a very reasonable time frame. We're not close to walmart, but Publix dollar general, family Dollar, and several gas stations. And 75 is right up the street. It's nice and quiet here, and plenty of room for the children to play safely. The basketball court is always busy with kids, and the swings. We even have a little dog park. On the other side is the RV Park, which most of the people here live here year-round, and it's always nice having people here from out of state staying for the weekend or however long.
Sep 16, 2022 · Gust GI have lived here 3 yrs. It is disgraceful. I put my pots and pans away one day and they fell out onto the ground. Prices are not cheap either. The places they call cottages are at least 40 to 50 yrs old . I am choking myself for rent because I just can't stand the place and it's filthMaintenance workers that don't know what they are doing.
